visit our forum at projectgreenpage.team-talk.net and apply for Cornerstone to be granted access to the play test alpha. We will soon make this all public and official but feel free to join our community and get access to the game right away.
As for its pricing, we are still having internal discussions but it would be very nice to have it on Steam. Thanks for the lovely comments.
Come join us at our forum and try the game.
Nucl3ar, we are nearing a release, but note that the initial release will only be accessible for our forum's Cornerstone members. Join us at our forum if you are interested in getting the earliest possible access :).
Thanks for the comment, we will be handling most of our stuff at our forum from now so perhaps you can keep track of our game there :)
Hey, thanks for the comment!
Jetcutter, we are launching a forum page tomorrow, where members will get insider info on play testing and instructions. We will be emailing you guys very very soon. So stay frosty!
Green Page isn't really a zombie game, per say. It is a sandbox survival game that has elements of thirst, hunger, temperature, stress, sleep deprivation, bandits, other "stalker like NPCs", and zombies that become active during the night.
I should probably stop defending the game as having a publicly released game always attracts both praise and hatred, but maybe you should give it a try - when it is made available. I mean, we are making a game that we wanted to play, which is a hyper realistic game - not just graphics or over exaggerated sound effects - but in every aspect.
For example, to make long ranged shots (+700 meters away) one has to read and adjust to windage, external ballistics, coriolis effect, moisture and temperature of the atmosphere, MOA and the list goes on. In short, we are aiming to have the most realistic firearms simulation ever tried in games.
So, cinco. I can proudly say that this game is quite original - to some extent. And I am proud to be affected and inspired by other great enjoyable games. Thus, please support us and give our Dev team the strength to carry on! This may turn out to be a great fun game afterall :)
Oh, and mechwarrior24, thanks for the comment :)
Thanks for the pro-activeness! We will contact you as soon as we have a tester build. Thank you
This is a tough question that is difficult to answer. We use third person perspective that works like a first person. We worked hard to have both 3rd person and 1st person elements to our game camera. This probably is quite hard to imagine until you actually try the game but the short answer would be yes.
I am a huge fan of jazz music so that explains it :) TBH, we are having trouble finding music (royalty free and valid for commercial use) for our game and videos. Let me know if you run into awesome music regardless of genre.
send me a photo and possibly an article and we will look into it :)
I mean, I don't mind not-so-right-now-but-probably-in-three-years type of stuff. For example, in GP, travellers carry Dew Collectors which was inspired by a real life counter part. It is an aluminium based bowl that collects dew (for water) at early mornings using condensation techniques.
It wasn't exactly intended but it turns out to be :)
Absolutely, I've already implemented some vehicles in-game although we will not make it accessible until vehicle modifications are ready. Currently, I am working on motorbikes and bicycles as an immediate ways of transport. Dev Video #4 covers this so stay tuned!
Awesome, I want some heavy criticism! Awesome! Awesome!
Likewise, would like some quality feedbacks when it is finally released.
This isn't all finalized at the moment, but Tech demos, for obvious reasons will be free, but I believe I will be going into Alpha Funding mode, which of course will have a small price tag :) But with that funding, I will be able to dedicate more time and resources to make the game better.
Well, at this stage, I am really focused on having it working in game, and is one of the reasons the demo is delayed. But great idea!
Thanks for your kind words and interest. Have a wonderful day!
I actually never heard or played this game - until you've commented that is. It looks quite cyber punk and stylish considering it's a 10 year old game. Good find!
To give you more info, Green Page will be closer to a mix of Arma and Rage in terms of visual presentation.
Thanks for the comments guys, I will make sure I put more time into first person animations. Hopefully, by the time it is released, all the small things are straightened out.
Thanks for tracking Green Page! We are open to suggestions and ideas, so please feel free to comment. Have a good day!
