World of WarCraft has my ASDF touch typing hotkeys and macros(General and mainly warrior)
A = Back
S = Forward
D = Stafe Left
F = Strafe Right
Get into the game and click options/keyboard. From there you'll have like 400+ hotkeys to pick from.
1337 Board doesn't overwrite your default config.cfg, so, just make hotkeys as normal. If you're playing Elements of War(HL2 mod), keep in mind if you hit "Tab", that's the default hotkey to get into First Person AND it overwrites your intire config.cfg to the default EoW hotkeys.
Now, you can also go to the cfg folder
Steam-SteamApps-Your Account-Half-Life 2-HL2-cfg/
And create config.cfg's there. Get into the game and bring down the console "```~~~" hotkey, and type:
Nox is a tight game. My only complaint was that you couldn't be a female in single or multi.
There's gonna be a slight delay on the open source EoW v8 map pack. Could be a month or longer.
When I came back to Half-Life, from Unreal Tournament 2003, I was looking over the HL SDK. I realized you could easily change the camera view rather than do all this code work. I didn't think anything of it, until later doing my Half-Life 2 mod.

Textures are a joke. I decided I have no time for textures, so, EoW .8 will use only realistic textures.
Down the line, I'll come back to them so you can play realistic or cartoon.
This game is tight.
The cool thing about this game was you could play all CS/CS:CZ maps with the a.i. bots. The bots are rather decent, even using "Crosshair Flow". They auto learned the map which was really nice.
The game got a ton of crap, but at the end of the day, it was a nice lil upgrade to Counter-Strike.
However, splitting the multi-player community was a mistake IMHO.
I posted about the X-Box 360 controller from 1337 Board v3. You can now use the config to use your 360 controller in Quake 1-4, Half-Life 1-2, mods, games based on those games, and whatever else.

Joystick1 is for 360 Controller. Makes left control stick aim, right move. Doesn't matter what game, Quake, Quake II, Half-Life, Half-Life 2, mods.
Joystick2 does the same, except left control stick moves, right aims.
Mainly I don't know how to make a license. I just want "Elements of War" to be mine, source code for UT2003/4's top down view, all textures, every map, whatever else, edit however you want and give out however you want. I could care less for credits. I know I made this really badass camera for UT and I made a really cool camera system for Half-Life. That's all I need to know (:

PS: It has everything from version one, but changes CSS to L4D. If you have CSS, find the kb_act in cfg/xCFG/1337 Board/KBx1337/Counter-Strike Source/Cstrike/Scripts/kb_act
Copy and paste that to CSS.

Yeah, I know. I found it rather amusing coming from UT2003/4 where I had to do all this code just to make one camera view. Then going to Half-Life you could just do it all from simple config changes. /laugh
It's more than just cam_ideal, however. You need a few config options depending on how you want the camera system to be.
I don't understand what you mean. I made every level in Elements of War ever made (HL, UT2003, UT2004, HL2). I made UT2003/4's top down camera system in pure code(btw, never seen in any other video game ever made). I also made config assets for HL and HL2 allowing over 22 camera views. In -any- Half-Life, Half-Life Mod, Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2 Mods, and sometimes even GoldSource and Source "games". That video of Counter-Strike: Source is real.
I guess you're trying to say there are no maps? Yes, that's slightly true. I stopped compiling levels. It just takes too long. Instead, I just give out the source map files. A number of EoW HL2 files come with maps, however.

PS: Every EoW mod gives out the entire source files for the entire game.

I've been trying to get Elements of War on Unreal Tournament 3. While I managed to get the same camera view from UT2003/4, for some reason the pawn(the char you control) always aims at the ground. I have no idea how to fix this. I've tried a few options, but it doesn't seem to do the trick. I've seen that other top down view game from UT2003(?)/4 return to UT3, so, he managed to do something with it. But his camera acts like Diablo II, except with movement controls.
Anyways, while making the UT3 version this taught me a few lessons on the UT2004 version. Now if I actually go back to UT2004 and make another version, who knows I'm lazy :p
If you noticed in the HL2 version you also get the HL version. I thought to keep this Half-Life only, but I was thinking about adding in UT2004 and the new UT3 version. Good and bad in a few ways, but I'm not certain if I want to do this just yet, we'll see.
