Monsters of War
Single Player Survival Mode is difficult...
You can probably port levels from Hammer/WorldCraft into 3D modeling programs
One/Two hit masterbow
You should try Kingdoms Collide. ModDB.com
You need SDK Base 2007 dl'ed
Well, that was dumb. Loaded the game, joined a server, was at the MotD screen and clicked Shift-TAB to change my name... Hit enter to change it and bam, instant bann... Ugh, there went my Monday :d
I was excited. Forever without players or servers and suddenly a server with two people. Only to figure out it wasn't the current public version ):
dl my hotkeys menu mod for Kingdoms Collide, adds countless third person options.
I've asked them to remove the lock on cam_height 12 or whatever the value is, hopefully they did that
lol the video says 1.0, but that was already released... We're a few versions past that... We're at v3 or something.
They're probably just dl'ing the wrong files... Maybe next release, don't seperate them ;)
Deleting some of your old files will help too
Any game that's not on the Source or Gold Source engine(Valve games, Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike), you'll have to manually look at kb_act with a text editor. You simply copy the hotkeys you want into your own Config.cfg / AutoExec.cfg / or any Config.cfg
Also, there's an issue with certain games as they don't use the "Alias" command. Most non-Valve games never finished that command and it's a main part of 1337 Board.
Yeah, that's what it looks like from the photo. Direction in general would be nice, like if you got hit from behind...
Also damage and what type of weapon you got hit from?
Will blood on the screen tell you what location you got hit from?
World of WarCraft has my ASDF touch typing hotkeys and macros(General and mainly warrior)
A = Back
S = Forward
D = Stafe Left
F = Strafe Right
You have to have a sword to use a shield, lol
What game or mod? Have you tried setting up 1337 Board v7? Go to Options/Keyboard(Hotkeys) and use some of the third person hotkeys.
You can also make an AutoExec.cfg (Config.cfg) with your third person hotkeys. See the post below this one.
I'm not, I just made a guide. I make Elements of War and EoW: 1337 Board. My content is for Source in general, so, you can paste it into Kingdoms Collide. I might compile my maps for Kingdoms Collide and Age of Chivalry.
The developers don't make money from this. Unless they got advertizements on their website or something. Donations, ha, gl with that. Servers cost money. I'm guessing like $10-20++ a month.
I've been complaining about this for a while. Valve needs to open up their platform and stop using modders.
My Kingdoms Collide Guide:
Use SDK Tools to create a mod, in the 2006 engine. Then use that version of Hammer.
Not being able to jump for a full second or so after blocking/attacking is the most annoying thing I've ever seen in a video game. If you plan on keeping that crap, can you at least lower it to .1 or .2 of a second?
Actually is that locked to sv_cheats or can a server change the variable? Less developer and more server for commands is always the best option IMO.
Mouse2 does jump, *fixed
Can you change default controls to be mouse1 does overhead and mouse2 does slice?
I wrote an Age of Chivalry Guide, found here: Forums.steampowered.com
A: Did you compile your own code? Did you place it in SourceMods/ModName/Bin/ Client.dll Server.dll
B: Is GameInfo correct? You need to have the correct "SteamAppId" to match whatever Client/Server.dll you're using. 215/218 requires "Game SourceTest"
If you compiled your own code, you must match the correct 215/218. If you didn't use any code, delete your Bin folder and use the correct SteamAppId AND Game GameName list. The higher the Game GameName is important to load the Client/Server.dll
Yes, open kb_act and find the camera controls you want the most.
Open AutoExec.cfg or UserConfig.cfg with a text editor.
Paste all camera hotkeys into one or both of those.
Paste that AutoExec.cfg and UserConfig.cfg into every Valve game or Quake Config.cfg game you own.
bind "F1" "xViewIN"
bind "F2" "xViewOUT"
bind "F3" "xViewSkyToggle"
bind "F4" "xViewSkybToggle"
bind "F5" "xViewlsvToggle"
bind "F6" "xViewrsvToggle"
bind "F7" "exec xCFG/xDefault/xView/FirstPerson.cfg"
bind "F8" "exec xCFG/xDefault/xView/tpv32x0.cfg"
bind "F9" "exec xCFG/xDefault/xView/xChase/LeftShoulder32x0x16.cfg"
bind "F10" "exec xCFG/xDefault/xView/xChase/RightShoulder32x0x16.cfg"
bind "F11" "exec xCFG/xDefault/xView/xChase/ChaseOFF.cfg"
I hope we can use the Elements of War sky camera system, where the player always looks to the north of the screen. When you turn left or right, the camera turns clockwise or counter-clockwise with you...
