It's from the 2008 version of Dear Esther, a mod for Half-Life 2. I don't own the rights to it, e-mail Jessica Curry.

Go for it. Those particles were fairly easy to make in the Amnesia particle editor, so you could feasibly make them yourself. No sweat!
You obviously didn't try very hard. Thanks for rating my year's worth of work a 1.
That thing was a pain in the ***. I made it so you have the option to go back up in case you had to recharge the phone, but yes. You have to jump off the rock and click at the peak of your jump while looking up at the hole. It's something to do with the LadderArea I used, it's not really allowing you to grab it again at the bottom because it's so tall. I'm not sure how to make it work every time. :(
Yeah I warned you about that right in the opening credits. The interior of the lodge is heavily detailed, there's a lot to render for the engine. It's more complex than any level in vanilla Amnesia, so there will be framerate drops. 30FPS is very playable, though, so you should be fine.
Nah, I've seen that before. That's a problem with the Amnesia AI and patrolnode pathing. Sometimes they freak out, especially when you're above them. Nothing I can do about that, it happens in Amnesia too. :(
Glad you liked it! :)
I noticed that there's a bit of a bug going on that I can't fix, when you save & quit and then reload, all the flares are on. Just leave the map and re-enter for them to go away until you pick them up, as it's supposed to be. :)
It wasn't a cliffhanger, though. Your character found civilization. He's saved. What more is there to tell?
Don't read too much into it. :P
You know, this is frustrating the hell out of me (not you). That makes two people who tell me that happened, but on my end, the music does stop when you touch the piano. It really bugs me to know that sometimes, portions of the script just stop working arbitrarily, because I actually do have it scripted so that the music does stop playing when the piano is touched. You can even look in the code for yourself. Thanks for the review, though!
I appreciate the review, but making it "extreme" goes against the very nature of the entire experience I wanted people to have. Not everything is scary monsters and chase sequences.
This mod won't work on a mac, they require different installation files. Although, you can get it to work fairly easily with a change in a few files. Try asking here : http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/forum-37.html
Try reinstalling Amnesia. There's no reason it shouldn't work, other than a corrupt installation or something. My mod files should not interfere with your game files, it's a fully isolated mod.
One key for one door. Every locked door has a solution to it, which may not always be a key :)
Believe me, I made it, you didn't. Otherwise you would have the second tape. :)
There's a locked room you can jump down into from one of the balconies.
Ha, you made me notice something I never took into account- I play with hints off all the time, so I never bothered changing the text from the original Amnesia. Those aren't demons, they're regular wolves, just a bit rabid and starving. :P You might want to turn off hints for a better experience.
I re-uploaded it to fix a small bug and optimize it and it had to be authed again :( It should be good in less than an hour!
Yeah, calm down folks. The download is being authorized right now.
Sounds like a bug with the game, seems out of my control.
You can't progress to the areas with the slime without the drill.
That's honestly wonderful to hear, because that's exactly why I do what I do; to make people feel real emotions! Thank you for your insightful review :)
You need to construct a real drill in order to break into a sturdy lock. The pieces are scattered all around the house, but the final piece is in your room. :)
This story is more graphics-intensive than others, so it may have more of a performance hit. It ran fairly slowly on my old computer, that's for sure. However, there isn't really any part of the mod that requires fast reflexes, so it should be a non-issue.
