Tau’ri Ground Units

SGC Recon Team
Light, fast moving recon teams make up the backbone of the SGC forces. They are well trained service men from many of Earth’s military branches.

SGC Heavy Team
Heavy assault troops used by the SGC in both offensive and defensive situations assist SGC recon teams. They have considerable firepower and wear heavier armour than recon teams.

SGC Anti-Kull Team
SGC teams equipped with Anti Kull Warrior weapons, specifically designed to destroy Anubis’ drones. They are however under equipped to engage Jaffa or other ground troops.

SGC Sniper
Snipers are used by the SGC to assassinate key figures in the opposing force, using the old adage “cut off the head and the body will die” as a motto. They are highly effective against leader units but will fall if outnumbered by infantry.

F-302 Fighter Interceptor
The F-302 is a human built fighter interceptor. Armed with both a dual railgun and modified AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles, making it a threat to both fighters and capital ships. It is superior to both the X-301 and the Goa’uld death glider, and can hold its own against even the strongest opponents. F-302’s can be carried by BC-304 Class ships in small numbers.

Humvee
The High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV or Humvee) is a military 4WD Vehicle. These versions have been modified to carry a Railgun and TOW missile launcher, so as to provide both anti-ground and anti-air capabilities. It is too large to fit through the Stargate and so must be constructed offworld or carried by ship.

MALP
The Mobile Analytic Laboratory Probe, or M.A.L.P., is the first device to emerge on new worlds the SGC tries to contact. It is capable of detecting temperature, analyzing oxygen levels and transmitting video feeds, as well as determining whether or not a DHD is present.

MALP w/ .50 Cal
A more heavily armed version of the M.A.L.P. This version is used to support SGC teams when on missions to suspected enemy strongholds and in assaults they provide a support role, bringing heavy firepower aid to offworld teams without risking more lives.

Surface-Surface Missile MALP
A recent development, this M.A.L.P. alternative carries multiple missile launchers which can be guided to target by a U.A.V. These missiles can devastate ground troops and vehicles. It has seen limited deployment, though early results have been promising.

X-301 Fighter
The X-301 Interceptor was the Tau’ri’s first attempt at developing a space-based combat vessel capable of engaging the Goa'uld. It was originally built using two Goa'uld death gliders obtained during Apophis' failed attack on Earth. Though abandoned after a failed test flight, it has been pressed into service in the war against the Goa’uld.

SGC Officer
Experienced officers are sent out amongst the rank and file troops of the Tau’ri to bolster their confidence and improve ground based tactics. These officers have served for years and are the best Earth has to offer.

Anubis Homeworld
The Homeworld of Anubis is a planet on the outer rim of the galaxy. This is where Anubis spent his exile from the system lords and began to rebuild his forces.

Earth
The homeworld of the Tau'ri. The planet was once home to the Ancients, who left in their great city Atlantis millions of years ago. Stargate Command is based here.

Tartarus
The Kull warriors' planet of origin, where Anubis has established a base of operations. Tartarus is defended by a powerful sensor away, preventing anyone from arriving by ship unnoticed. Baal later discovered this base and used it to imprint the kull warriors to serve him, giving him a huge advantage over the system lords.

Gratus
An Asgard world overrun by the replicators early in the war, it was once a beautiful world, the jewel in the crown of the Asgard empire. Now it is a ruin, the asgard destroyed their own cities ont he planets surface to prevent the replicators from using the technology to advance even further.

Halla
Originally an important Asgard world, Halla was designated by the High Council to be the planet where a massive experiment would take place. Preparing a trap with a time dilation device, the Asgard initiated a command to bring forth all Replicators in the galaxy to the planet. It is now the base of all replicators in the Ida galaxy.

Orilla
Thef irst planet the Asgard colonised to rebuild their civilization after their war with the Replicators. The planet is rich in neutronium, a key element in Asgard technology. Unfortunately it is also the primary ingredient in human-form Replicators, making it an appealing target. Fifth attacked the planet but was forced to retreat after O'neill used the ancient knowledge and asgard technology to create the disruptor.

Othalla
An Asgard world, located in the Ida galaxy. After Colonel O'Neill had the Ancients' library of knowledge downloaded into his brain, his subconscious mind carried out the necessary tasks to get him to Othalla, where he was able to get help. This was the asgards home planet, until they were forced to flee after the replicatord attacked.

Celestis
Celestis is the location of Ver Eger, a village populated by humans who worship the Ori. The Plains of Celestis is the location of the city of Celestis, the home of the Doci and the Flames of Enlightenment where the Ori reside. This is the center of the Ori religion and is considered a holy world.

Dejara

Metus

Reola

Ver Isca
Ver Isca is a planet in the Ori home galaxy, populated by worshippers of the Ori. When Vala Mal Doran destroyed the Supergate, she was sent here when the matter stream from her ring transporters were sucked into the wormhole. The planet was also the site of construction for Ori battlecruisers to ferry the soldiers of the Ori Army. It is also Tomin's homeworld.

Andaria

Asuras
World designated by the Ancients to be the location where the developing Asuran race was allowed to thrive, following their explosion in evolutionary development. The ancients later turned on the asurans and destroyed their cities, but a few nanites survived and rebuilt. They now have a huge civilisation, much grander than anything the ancients themselves ever accomplished, with massive fleets of ancient battleships and numerous ZPM's to power their cities.

Athos
Homeworld of the Athosians, a small agrarian population. Athos was routinely under siege by Wraith culling parties until John Sheppard evacuated Teyla's village to Atlantis for safe harbour following a Wraith attack. It is also home to an abandoned and ruined ancient settlement of some sort, though the athosians believe it will attract the wraith if they enter it.

Atlantis
The planet where Atlantis, the lost city of the Ancients, slumbered underwater for many thousands of years following the Ancients' devastating war with the Wraith. The ancients sunk the city to hide it from the wraith, then fled the Pegasus galaxy. It is now home to the Tau'ri, who sent an expedition led by Dr Elizabeth Weir.

Belkan
A world in the Pegasus Galaxy known to the Athosian people as an active trading outpost for everything from agricultural goods to arms. Teyla Emmagan, who has friends on Belkan, was familiar with the land, the people, and their shrewd trading practices. It is considered to be a rough place, but if you need anything from equipment to information, this should be your first stop.

Belsa
A planet in the Pegasus Galaxy where at least one family of Satedans settled after their civilization's destruction at the hands of the Wraith. It is a peaceful world, with very little to interest the wraith and therefore made a suitable hidng place.

Cohall

Dagan
Dagan, formerly known as Sudaria, was a planet in the Pegasus galaxy. When the Lanteans fled Atlantis after they lost the war with the Wraith, one of them left a Zero Point Module with the Quindosium, members of an order which belonged to the Sudarian society that worshiped the Ancients. The Atlantis team tried to recover the ZPM but were betrayed by locals who believed the anciens would one day come to retrieve it themselves

Danira

Doronda
During the war with the Wraith, the Lantean Council ordered the scientists working on Project Arcturus to build an outpost and conduct research on the project. Eventually, a Wraith fleet arrived, including a hive ship, intending to cull the planet. The Lanteans destroyed the Wraith fleet using their experimental power source and one of their weapons. Unfortunately, Project Arcturus had not been perfected: It began to overload and the weapon ended up destroying not only the orbiting Wraith ships, but leveling every building within range on the planet's surface. The Lanteans eventually managed it shut down but they were all killed while doing so.

Genii
Genii is a planet in the Pegasus. Once part of the Genii confederation, the surviving Genii fled to tunnels built underground to survive being culled by the Wraith. On the surface, the Genii maintain an image of simple farmers-as well as maintaining their population's food supply-while they conduct research and training underground. They are a relativly advanced society, considering that the wraith usually destroy societies that advance to a certain level.

Hoff
Hoff is the home planet of the Hoffans, a civilisation working on a vaccine that could prevent the wraith from feeding ont hem. Though the Vaccine killed the wraith, it also killed 50% of those who took it. When the wraith discovered the vaccine, they wiped out the Hoffans.

Lesaria

M7G677
M7G-677 is a planet in the Pegasus galaxy. Five hundred years before the Atlantis expedition reached Pegasus, an Electromagnetic field generator, powered by a ZPM, was constructed as a means of protection against the Wraith. Because it could only cover a small area of the planet, a suicide pact was made as a measure of population control.

Manaria
Manaria was a planet in the Pegasus galaxy, which held a Stargate and is home to the Manarians. When a massive storm threatened Atlantis, the Atlantis Expedition evacuated here until it was safe to return.

Midway
The Midway space station is a space station located between the Milky Way and Pegasus galaxies, serving as the midpoint of the McKay-Carter Intergalactic Gate Bridge.

Olesia
Olesia was a world in the Pegasus galaxy of beauty, long-void of threats of Wraith cullings. The planet possesses significant deposits of a volatile ore which the Olesian government hoped to trade to the people of Atlantis. Olesia possesses an island amidst a great ocean where the government's prisoners are kept. It is this island that has kept the Wraith culling close to the Stargate, away from the main population.

Proculus
Proculus was a planet in the Pegasus galaxy. Long ago, Chaya Sar used the abilities she acquired as one of the ascended to destroy a Wraith fleet attacking her world. The Others forced Chaya to protect only the people of Proculus, who began to worship her as their goddess, and are otherwise unaware of the Wraith.

Ratira

Sateda
Sateda is a planet that used to be home to an advanced race of Humans knows as the Satedans and was the homeworld on Ronon Dex. Sometime in 1998, the planet was attacked and culled by the Wraith. The Satedans tried to resist, but ultimately failed. Today, the planet has been completely abandoned and now lies in ruins. Ronon believed that he was the last of his race, but little did he know that some 300 Satedans survived the Wraith attack.

Taranis
Taranis was a planet in the Pegasus galaxy. It was a former colony of the Atlanteans, as evidenced by the outpost left behind with a Dialing Device like the one used in Atlantis, and possessing a shield being powered by geothermal energy. During the War with the Wraith, Taranis served as a drydock for the Ancient fleet, with one ship, the Hippaforalkus, being left behind after the Atlanteans fled back to Earth.

Chekov did the following descriptions

P39865 was not found. In fact it does not match the numbering system used in the Milky way by the SGC.

P3R118- is a planet going through an harsh ice age. The elite of this world live in a domed city while the working class, which lived beneath the city, worked day in and day out on the antiquated systems that supported the city. The workers were told that they were directly beneath an ice sheet and that the only way to protect themselves was to maintain constant productivity. When Administrator Calder tried to make SG-1 workers by stamping their memories, SG-1 revealed the truth to the other workers leading them through the Gate to another world.

P3S114-was a planet under Ba'al's control. Zarin, an undercover Tok'ra operative, was stationed there when the planet was targeted by The Trust with a symbiote-killing poison as part of master plan to solve the Go'auld problem. All Jaffa and Zarin and a resistance leader, M'Zel, werekilled instantly.

P3X116- Once was a base for an ex-spy of Apophis, Tanith. SG-1 was chased off this planet by Tanith's Alkesh, but not before Teal'c shot it down, destroying the stargate preventing anymore gate travel to the planet.

P3X254-(P3X-234?)SG-1 was stuck on this world for weeks after escaping Thor's Replicator infested mother ship, the Beliskner.

P3X289-This planet was originally controlled by the System Lord Morrigan. After he left, this planet was left completely toxic. However, not far from the Stargate the residents of the planet lived under a dome in small numbers. They accessed what they called the Link for all the information they needed and survived in this manner for 400 years. Because of the dome's energy barrier,The planet is now abandoned since the dome didn't have enough energy to sustain the people in the controlled environment

P3X367-A Planet that for a time was under the control of Nirrti following her escape from the S.G.C.. Originally home to a peaceful population, Nirrti arrived in secrecy and plagued the colony with horrifying illnesses. She then revealed herself and promised to cure them. Eventually SG-1 arrived and deposed her, returning authority to the people who began the healing process with a genetic manipulation device. The world is plentiful in tall, coniferous trees and beautiful formations of stone, as well as the low orbit of at least one moon.

P3X421-is populated by primitive humans who previously worshiped the Goa'uld. After the Goa'uld were defeated by the Replicators, Stargate Command sent Doctor Lindsay to aid the people. The planet was also visited by an Ori Prior who came to preach about Origin. He was taken from the planet by SG-12.

P3X439-Was once an Ancient colony. Less than a kilometer from the Stargate there are the remains of an enormous colonnade (and headless, due to its age, before its discovery) that contained a repository of the Ancients' knowledge at the base. After General O'Neill (Colonel at the time) interfaced with it, it was destroyed to prevent it from falling to Anubis' hands.

P3X584- is a planet which Anubis conducted experiments regarding Khalek, a genetically engineered human with Goa'uld DNA. SG-1 orgianlly traveled to the planet to investigate a gravitational disturbance that Carter found.

P3X666- It is an Ancient planet where ruins are all that remained. The Goa'uld ambushed SG-13 and SG-3 here. SG-1, SG-5 and a medical team was sent in extract the two SG teams. It was on this planet that Doctor Fraiser was killed.

P3X744- Also known as Tagrea, a world ripe with industrial development. It is Home to the Tagreans. The world plays host to a bustling economy, speedy tram-ways, and desert plains filled with artifacts from Heru'ur's era as lord over the planet. North of the capital lies the wastelands of Anhur, where the Stargate was fabled (and later found) to be buried in the ground. This is the world were the Prometheus was stuck on its official shake down cruse.

P3X888- This lush, deciduous world is believed to be the original world where Goa'uld symbiotes and Unas evolved. Goa'uld still exist in the primordial waters. It is believed that from there, they figured out how to operate the Stargate after taking Unas hosts and left the planet. The Unas on P3X-888 are cave-dwellers and have protected a thriving existence. Unfortunately, they are hunted by humans on another planet, who would use them as slave laborers. Goa'uld symbiotes on P3X-888 do not have naquadah in their systems, confirming Daniel Jackson's theory that it entered their genetic make-up at a later point in their evolution.

P4C452- Designated rendezvous point for the Earth ship Prometheus. This planet was selected because it was near to Prometheus's position, and because the Stargate on Kallana was not deactivating (sustained by a black hole on the other side). It was used to Pick up SG-1 with and a Mark IX nuke to stop an Ori Beachhead.

P4S161- Was once a Thriving Jaffa Rebel Base till it got attacked by the Trust using Symbiote poison as part of its solution to the Go'auld problem.

P5R357- Was formerly controlled by the System Lord Ba'al. It was among the planets targeted by the Trust with their symbiote poison; however, Samantha Carter convinced the Trust agents carrying out the operation that Ba'al left the planet after its mines were depleted, and they chose not to deploy a poison rocket on it.

P5S117- Was a key mining site for Ba'al and was also the place where he modified Doctor Felger's Avenger virus shutting down the Gate Network.

P6G462-(P6G-452?) is a about a day's hyperspace journey from Earth. The settlements are under the authority of the Lucian Alliance, who use the land to grow massive amounts of kassa.

P8F809- Planet visited by SG-3 during General Jack O'Neill's first weeks as commander of Stargate Command.

P8X362- World that had promising mineral scans. General Hammond planned to pass on the intelligence to SG-4 to have them geared and ready at eleven-hundred hours on the same day. After this decision, SG-1 returned, minus Daniel Jackson, escaping from (what seemed to be) his death.

P8X412- is a planet that was previously under the Goa'uld Qetesh's domain. A Prior of the Ori came to this planet, after the Goa'uld where there, on behalf of the Ori and converted that planet. The Prior used an Ori plague to get the inhabitants devotion.

PX9757- World under Goa'uld control, discovered by the Tok'ra as a secret base where Apophis was building a new, advanced mother ship. Through a dense forest lies the massive superstructure where the vessel was under construction. Death gliders patrolled the skies around the factory. SG-1, under the influence of the Atoniek armbands, managed to destroy the base.

Reeses Home World- Planet once inhabited by an advanced civilization fully capable of creating intelligent, self-aware androids. One such scientist conceived of the android Reese, who later would call him her father. Reese developed toys (Replicators) to ease her boredom, but the people were afraid of the devices and eventually revolted against her. She ordered her toys to protect her, and they replicated until they reached critical mass sufficient to destroy the population, and her father. Once Reese lost control she went into a deep depression and shut herself down within a vault of rock, as the Replicators left the destroyed world en-masse.

Revanna- was a temporary base for the Tok'ra resistance movement. After evacuating the planet Vorash, many Tok'ra rebels established the group's main base on the world of Revanna, a planet that is both grassland and deciduous. The base existed for about six months when the Go'auld Zipacna destroyed it.

Sartorus- World once settled by a band of free Jaffa following the defeat of the Goa'uld. One particular settler, Tass'an, bore witness to the arrival of an Ori Prior who demanded the worship of the Jaffa to his masters. When the Jaffa chose to resist, a subsequent visit by the Prior heralded the destruction of the settlement and hundreds of its people. The Prior dialed the Stargate, planted his staff into the ground, and leveled their city.

Sodan- was a planet in the Milky Way settled by the group of Sodan more than 5,000 years ago, when they were trying to locate Kheb. The world was an Ancient-controlled planet, possibly outpost, millenia ago that is still is protected with an Ancient transporter that sends people to a remote part of the planet, behind the Mountains of Dor Tanak. These mountains are a most fierceful place, where many have lost their lives in the difficult terrain. Also protecting the planet's inhabitants are cloaking devices built using Ancient designs.

Tegalus- A world where two warring factions, The Rand Protectorate and the Caledonian Federation ended destroying each other through war. Later on an Ori prior provided an satellite weapon to the Protectorate prompting Earth to Intervene, this resulted in the destruction of the Prometheus and possibly the people of the planet through a nuclear exchange.

Tollana-Once Home to an advanced civilization of Humans who managed to develop 800 years past their Tau'ri counterparts. Upon aiding a neighboring world with technology, said world destroyed itself causing extreme climate change on Tollana. The Planet was evacuated.

VisUban-this was planet where the final city constructed by the Ancients is located. They were unable to finish due to the plague. It claimed the lives of many and forced the rest to learn to ascend to a higher plane of existence. This world may have even been the place where the plague began. The city was to be the crown jewel in the entire Ancient domain, but was never completed. In the centuries since, Vis Uban has been occupied by nomadic peoples who have laid claim to the land.

Vorash- Was atemporary base for the Tok'ra. The Tok'ra abandoned the desert world when presented with the opportunity to establish a more permanent base off the Goa'uld map. Instead, the system's star was destroyed as part of a plan to annihilate most of Apophis's fleet. Vorash and the rest of the system were vaporized.

Yus Home World-Is heavily defended with battalions of Jaffa and squadrons of patrolling death gliders. Yu's home world is an architectural echo of ancient China. Mountains scrape the nearby horizon of the capital structure .

Taonas-(The actual name of the planet is Proclarush)-I s where an ancient base named Taonas is located. There once was a nearly depleted ZPM on this planet until SG-1 took it to use it on Taonas's identical sister base in Antarctica to defend Earth from Anubis. The planet hosts nothing but a red hot vocanic surface that later destroyed the Ancient base after SG-1's visit.

Volian-(actual name is Volia) Once hosted an advance society eaual to early 20th century technological stage on Earth. The Volians made contact with the insidious Aschen which through knavish tricks forced the Volians to fight back, they were soon reduced to nothing but a handful of farmers working to feed the Aschen.

P4C970- The possible home to the Insidious Aschen. The SGC was warned by a future version of SG-1 to not go there. If this was the place where the Aschen gated to the list of worlds that the SGC was forced to provide them, then it is most likely that it has fallen under the effects of a black hole.

Thaltus- This world once contained a substantial human population, the Talthuns. Talthus was subjected to a solar flare that engulfed the planet after a dark star passed too close to the planet's sun. The entire population was believed to have been destroyed. The only survivors were those who escaped the flare's radiation in three sleeper ships on a course for the world of Ardena. One of the three, the Stromos, crashed
