DEMO: Download and works in Fedora 19 6bit Linux flawlessly. Fun game, smooth play, fair level of variety and decent graphics. I am normally not into this type of game but I would consider buying it because its well done and could be fun to sit down and play occasionally. The only part of the demo I didnt like was at least one mission is a timed mission. Its just my personal likes/dislikes but I hate timed anything. Thought I left that behind after college tests! =) Anyhow, good game. If you are into this sort of thing I would recommend it.

(DEMO)The game took some tinkering on linux (Fedora) to get working but wasnt too bad. That was the demo. Its a bit too story board for my taste I think but I can see the effort put into the game and for what it is I think it looks pretty good. I think it would be fun game to play on the side as you do other stuff but that is just my opinion. I realize the author has put a LOT of effort into this but I dont think it is worth the price. Please bear that is MY opinion. Im more of a ISO/3D guy and yet I come from the old days of 8bit computers and ZORK. I suspect the later is why I can appreciate this game. Any youngster bent on the highest graphics would give this a 1 but I see the quality, the effort and the potential. Its just not my thing. I keep considering buying the full game but still have not decided. When I reach this point I try to look at it logically, if you will. If the game provides 3 hours of entertainment thats about similar to a decent movie (yes I know they are about half that but they dont involve your decisions) so if a game provides that its worth that movie cost which around here is about 10USD new. Being niche I drop that a few bucks. Anyhow that is the point I have reached.

For what its worth I did like it just not sure I would play it enough to buy.

I waited weeks to get this thing to work. I have decades of linux experience and even deal with java coders with tomcat at work all the time. Never was able to get it to to run as if something was missing from a class. I wanted to give it a high score, oh well. I am giving it a score based off my expience and not my opinion. All help failed, all from the community as far as I could see. I made an account on their forums but could never post anything. Days later my account was gone. I paid for this product, if you want to call it that. It doesn't work. If I could give it a -10 I would. I think and feel like I've been scammed. Honestly I would like my money back. Other games on desura, that were even free, worked and yet this thing that I paid more for than all of them plus those with a price, does not. In a world that values only cash there you go. Paid, got nothing. Paid nothing, got a working game. Amazing! I know coding is hard but if your code is that green then do not charge. Demo it. If you demo it. DEMO IT EVERYWHERE YOU SELL! Whatever. I'm done. Yep -10. Hope I am an outlier.

Reminds me of a more involved diablo 1 but better. Cant wait to see the finished product.

Very fun game with endless hours of game play and a big challenge. My only real complaint is without total testing in the game its nearly impossible to figure out what some things do. ie: grenade launcher is virtually impossible to use and I have yet to have killed single alien with it. LOL Anyhow, Id have paid for this game but hell its free. I hope they have plans to produce more.

Fun game to just sit sown and enjoy. Great for the kids too. It works right out of the gate on Linux so major kudos there. Only oddity, guessing this is desura, is that it still only shows the demo I installed and not the full game. Hopefully later down the road after a clean desktop install I wont have issues.
