The longer barrel and optic, as well as the modified firing mechanism may have played a part.

I assume these have been edited to at least sound like they're being played like a radio?

Looks great, N.Aaroe. Glad to see how things are really shaping up. A quick question I've seen people talk about; Would it be possible to have one save as say, an Assaulter, or another save as a Recon?

I don't think it was included in FC2's, either. Still a very welcome addition, though.

The map editor will come with the game. There are two ways of starting up, depending on where you bought it from.

STEAM: Start up the game by either pressing 'Play Game' or right clicking and selecting 'Play' from the drop-down menu. From there, a small box will pop up with multiple options; Map editor will be one of them. (source: FC2 on Steam, there's no reason it should have changed)

STANDALONE: Go into the main directory file for FC3, it'll be there.

People just have to be smarter with making their maps. The 'Terrain Hole' should help with this.

This kind of map editor is what keeps me playing. So excited it's improved over FC2's. People were able to do amazing things with FC2's map editor, much the same as Tony Hawk's Underground 1+2.

I'm surprised there isn't a bandit-style trench knife. Nonetheless, awesome, since I had managed to lose mine at some point during the game. Regarding 'Chorona Doroha',do you start with a knife?

Doesn't the version of the Armory Mod you're implementing add new Armors? If I remember correctly, I think 1.0-1.2 might have added a Clear Sky suit as well as another armor. Hoping to see plenty of variation in wearable armor, it plays quite a large part of the game, more often than people give it credit.

Immediately it becomes very clear that you did not correctly uninstall a previous mod and files are conflicting. Please try using some common sense before you throw a tantrum.

Interesting. The 'handling' of weapons is a big thing for me, so I'm interested in seeing how this turns out and learning what is changed.

No need to go into extreme detail, but the Crysis SCAR was probably influenced by the XM8 but has some very visual differences. I've just yet to see it in MISERY, and I hope it'll be worth the hours upon hours added to my already 200 or so hours spent within the 'MISERY' infused Zone.

Absolutely sexy rifle, but I am too in love with my SVU. Hoping to some day find this beauty in the Zone. I doubt I will unless it is sold by Owl or Hawaiian at random times, because I still have not heard one hint of anyone finding the Crysis SCAR (designated XM8 by the mod) or FN PARA.

Makes me wonder what the Kolobok will end up doing. I hope it doesn't end up like the dredge wheel or wiggly-spring that gave +6 radiation

Just curious, because I know that there are 'randomized' certain points where weapons can be found. I fell in love with the scoped M16A2, but haven't spotted the A2 without an optic. Is it actually in there, but more of a rare prize, much like the FS2000 with the combat sight? I'd also like to inquire about the other weapons I haven't seen, like the XM8 or the FN FAL Para? Both weapons would be a sight to see, and I'm hoping they're still there.

EDIT: Odd, it seemed to place my comment in the wrong section. Anyways, these Stims are a cool addition.

Might I suggest (even though it is probably extremely late to do so if not too late) that certain artifacts, such as the Kolobok near Skadovsk that are ALWAYS in the same spot be a somewhat randomized chance to find them? Feel free to say no, it was just a spur of the moment question.

I've been caught in bad places without sleep, but there ARE ways to (at least temporarily) reduce sleepiness. Fresh water, Bard's Tea, among others are items you should bring along on longer treks through the Zone. I normally don't leave Skadovsk without some of Bard's Tea. Really a useful item.

However, a warning icon probably wouldn't hurt, though if you're mindful of yourself and your surroundings, the warning icons only re-enforce what you know. Long hours of stalking The Zone will teach you things.
