The only thing i dont like on this mod is probably the usage of the original Crysis guns. if this is gonna be a total conversion i suggest you bring in some new and moore intresting looking guns that match your theme better.

Just as a comment on the blog update, what do you need done in terms of modding, is it audio modelling or? Cuz im pretty much the noob at Cryengine 2 but i have been along with Unreal engine 3 and i mostly do 100% custom content levels now.

kinda bad lighting on this shot. the dark areas is kinda flooding the whole sceene. maybe a small ambient light would fix this to kinda take the dark tone from the textures down a bit. beacuse now it just looks extreme.

it might also be the image compression that play a part in this, i dont know. but i liked the other shot much better.

I wasnt really mad about it. I mean the construction was perfect but sometimes a puzzle would showup that was really horrible constructed. Like the one where you in low gravity would push a box into a box shaped whole, no room for error.

Conclusion, other than some annoying puzzle ideas the mod is brilliant. Worth a try ;)

How much polys do you pend on a prop like this? Are you moore free to do what you want in the cryengine 2 or do oyu till have some bounderys? I mean in most cases you can see that they are pretty low poly, but do you have the freedom to crank the poly count up a bit compared to lets say the Unreal Engine.

Not sure what alienz was complaining about, i mean you guys have made an insane work with the HL1 engine. This acctually looks better than most EP2 engine mods around.

The video have an amazing level of quality and i want to congratulate you guys, even if im no longer a huge fan of naturo ;), for colpleting this awesome mod.

I agree with Captain Source, but still i understand that much of the texture detail is in the normal map. But couldnt you change the material out? How about some shiny metal parts or joint materals? Maybe some camo paint? With damage to it. Im sure that you guys can deliver ;).

I think its 6 images and he used NVIDEA cubemap maker to tie them together in a cube.

The ones that dont install quicktime is really mission out on a very cool feature, its like beeing ingame.
