Sorry but, seriously, you have been ******* working on this mod since HL2 got out....how ******* hard is it? Most people tend to take 1-2 years to develop a total conversion of a mod with 100% original ideas and gameplay element. You guys are just doing a graphical update and yet it takes bloody 7 years or something.

Caves is my biggest problem when it comes to level making. Do you guys have any like tips how to do them? It seems like alot of work and kinda complext geometry.
Do you make lots of small parts or do you make the whole cave into a whole model?

fantastic sculpt really. however all that clothing makes him look un proportional. some of the thigh muscels look weird aswell, a bit to flat maybe. But still awesome model.
Well it would produce a hell of alot moore traffic since anyone can DL and play for free. But anyhow the content looks really great ill be tracking this ;)
EDIT: and dont you guys go and overdo the fracture tool now...
I thought this article was to discuss the different LOD meshes....I havent done LOD for vegetation but im used to doing 3 different for weapons. But i guess if you want a really seamless transission.

Booleans are bad....mmmkaaay.
But i understand why you did add it, since unreal dosnt work that well with lighting and alpha masks.
Guys you need to optimise the top better. Wouldnt it be better if you removed some edge loops from the top cylinder? Sure it would kinda break up the model but as it looks now you get a pretty uneven poly distribution.
However textured it looks great. And i bet Unreal Engine can handle alot moore than that really ;)

I hope it dosnt take you one month to make a awesome looking underwater fan. Beacuse they you really have to rethink the workflow a bit.
I mean, your models look awesome as ****, but at this phase i dont see the mod ever beeing released since you are keeping such a insane standard.
