I thought this article was to discuss the different LOD meshes....I havent done LOD for vegetation but im used to doing 3 different for weapons. But i guess if you want a really seamless transission.

Guys you need to optimise the top better. Wouldnt it be better if you removed some edge loops from the top cylinder? Sure it would kinda break up the model but as it looks now you get a pretty uneven poly distribution.
However textured it looks great. And i bet Unreal Engine can handle alot moore than that really ;)

Well im still here, and we could still do a Engine change. Unreal 3 is by far the easiest to learn and allready have a big community.

Very good model, what kind of references did ya use for this? Did you have any blueprints to follow?
I wasnt really mad about it. I mean the construction was perfect but sometimes a puzzle would showup that was really horrible constructed. Like the one where you in low gravity would push a box into a box shaped whole, no room for error.
Conclusion, other than some annoying puzzle ideas the mod is brilliant. Worth a try ;)

The only thing this application misses is the ability to decompile models. MDLdecompiler is VERY unstable program.

Kinda basic concept work but they sure do the trick ;) looks really cool setting, the trick here is to get the ligthing right with just a faint godray from the holes.
Errrhmm portals have been in UT3 for quite some time.....try playing the Official maps...they r there.

Masterfull intro really ! I just have one problem, it seems when the camera cuts some of the textures dosnt load in fast enough. Wouldent it be easier if you just maid it into a cutscene? I mean in movie format.

Hurrm i cant get the mod to run. I have installed it correctly and activated the mod ingame, i see tha background and all but when i join any sever it reverts back to old cod...what am di doing wrong?

The **** man, just stating my oppinion, there are lots of mother mods that deserve moore attention and hype than this. Dont get my wrong, i have been MAD excited about this mod for literally years now. I have followed it from the beginning.
Im just saying if a project of this magnitude takes this long to develop it might not even be worth it? Or maybe they should concider doing something else in a different way. Beacuse obviously something is wrong.

Most people tend to take 1-2 years to develop a total conversion of a mod with 100% original ideas and gameplay element.
