Do you actually read the text? Above is written:

"As long we are still Beta testing the Mod we will not provide a Download for Crossfire 2.0 here at ModDb. You will only be able to download it from www.swat-portal.com"

With a link - so where is the problem??

There are certain reasons when this happens, maybe a corrupt installation or something is missing or was altered by you which should not be altered. Please report that problem in our bug tracker. There you can get help of the community to resolve your problem.

Well we dont have to explain ourselves to you all. And i am not quite sure what is so hard to understand that modding and coding is not our business. A days has 24 hours, there are holidays, illnesses, unforeseen happenings that our small developer team has to bear. Most of us have a real time job that covers 8 - 10 hours a day, we have a family to take care of, we have relatives to take care of, we need to care about bureaucratic affairs... And aside from all that what we have to bother, we also need to take care of ourselves - doing sports, meet RL friends, going to birthdays, having holiday etc. pp.

I am not sure what everyones who's complaining thinks we are?! Humans. No robots. Considering that we all do this in our spare time - emphasis on spare time. Thats the time where you are bothering us and complaining and robbing our motivation.

The mod content that we created is 5 if not even more times bigger than the original game. Features do not develop on their own, they need ideas and finally they need development time. When there is a problem with one idea its better to take some time off to rethink or get new ideas. In our spare time.

If you want to claim that we are late, then you are right. Thinks happen and we dont have the glas ball in front of us that helps to predict future.

Go to SC and ask them why they dont yet have the game released. The development of their game is their business and profession and they have collected millions of money to complete. All that we get here is eventually a nice thanks - not more not less.

We are finished when we are finished. If that takes another month or two or years then thats how it goes. If people are tired of waiting - go out, there is a Real World, have some walk in a park or forest, meet friends, do some handicrafts, grow plants... and stop making us tired to read those complaints.

I was nearly knocked down into the event horizon... really deadly there. With a bit of luck I could escape and made this shot at the rim of nowhere :)

indeed the bar wasnt updated - but we have made some progress for sure. As we do not have any source code of the game - but have meanwhile integrated more than the full game again in the mod - you might understand that fixing the bugs might take up a lot of time. We admit we didnt yet finished, but we could not foresee into what problems we might run.

We want to release a mod that is stable and where player might enjoy. When its crashing every now and then and story elements do not fit together then i am pretty sure everyone would complain. Thats definitely not the way we want to go.

Right! As we have a major story addon, we also need the time to fix all the story relevant features. It requires time to find solutions to problems we have faced already - but so far we are on a good way. Really!

No - that means its a client and you have to connect to our server (through an internet connection). We do not support local servers nor do we hand out the files for it.

Just a wee sharpening used. Most comes from new shaders :)
The result is pretty much what you see in game.

Hm menkind will just reveal if they once land there and find out :D

No it should show the detail depth we are even able to show with some new shaders. Although its an old game - graphics are up to date

We try our best to solve the issues in time. Many of them are not easy to solve and appart of FWTOW we do need to manage both sides of the game, the SP and MP part.

We already did solve a heap of bugs and also introduced some more improvements. But soon covers the timeframe that someone might use ;D

It is infact not a trojan and a false positive alert from your antivirus firewall. We do not deliver malware. And i strongly belive Moddb isnt too.

There is no further patch required besides the patch that we make available by our own game launcher.

The matter with floating words in space (the multi player server rules) is dealt with in the new version. For single player we will remove that content. So only players who join the server will see the beauty of floating letters (which have been reworked btw. :))

heard of this 50 dlls sooner, but am not sure whats the solution. I never had any problems with that and i regularly activate the mod and install it. Are you sure that you used FLMM 1.31?

And we didnt included any malware to the MOD. As far you did download it here or on the SWAT Portal it should be free of any malicious stuff. Its a false positive alert. I am even not sure why this topic comes up lately. We got rid of these alerts for some time now.

Yes a false call. So far never heard this file made any issues yet. File size should be 31.335.224 Bytes if you want to compare.
