his stomach needs some guts, all i see now is red. xD
Also i can't really see the ribcage.
Android version pl0x?
I'm not sure in which direction you are trying to go with this game... The description says it's a 3rd person action-adventure, though so far after all those updates the adventure aspect remains to be seen... What you have so far looks like nothing more than a 3rd person melee combat game.
So far what i have seen is a tech demo of a (actually pretty nice) engine with rabbits and wolves, running, jumping around with some pretty nice fighting in sparse, lifeless levels, where nothing else is going on. Level design is pretty much not existent and gameplay other than jumping around, fighting and climbing, well, there simply isn't.
No offense but this is just not worth my 30 bucks, i like to be proven different though. Maybe i'm convinced if you're going to show some actual gameplay. Fighting with knives and parkouring around in a lifeless world is not gameplay.
At the current state of this "game" (it's really more of a engine tech demo) that indicates to me that you're developing an adventure. For an adventure, I'd expect some real game design, a great story, interesting characters. FYI, the prototypes of what you would call modern action-adventure games are:
Beyond Good and Evil
You could use these games as an inspiration.
this engine would be great for platformers.
I agree, this game needs some high quality texture and model replacement mod...
This is the greatest space game i've seen in my entire life...
As far as Kickstarter is concerned: SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!
dead game is dead
Since you are developing this game on your own, have you thought about making a Kickstarter campaign, to raise funds for additional coders, modelers etc. in order to speed up your developement time? I would definitely back your project if you did. Certainly a lot of people would do the same.
You, sir, deserve my vote of 10/10. Also i'm tracking this now. Keep up the good work! Your particle effects in particular are really awesome. Actually the best i've seen from ANY cube engine game yet. And i've seen a lot.
Android version PLEASE. This game would be PERFECT for tablets and smartphones, since they have cccelerometer controls. I wonder why nobody has made a port yet.
But you don't do that, because that's illegal...
this game looks interesting
This is news to me, did you decide this recently?
I love the fact that this game will be free and open source. If the game is finished, it will be very popular.
BTW, please NEVER make this a "Freemium" game, or even worse, add an item shop where you have to pay REAL money to buy weapons in order to get an advantage in combat... Just don't do this.
Dunno if someone already told you this, but your physics look kind of WEIRD! :P
I know this game isn't about graphics. I didn't play this game for graphics in the first place.
My point is that this game could be ported to a better engine like iD Tech 4, Xreal or the engine from OverDose with very little effort, so you get all the effects, better animation system, more detailed maps, better lighting and shadows, shaders and even easier workflow for the developers.
Moving to a more advanced engine (based on iD Tech 3) is easy and has no disadvantages at all. If you have a ****** pc that can't even run a game from 1999 (what this game basically is a replica of) then you still can turn all the effects off and it will look like quake 3.
That is basically what i was already saying. :P
Your game and engine look simply AMAZING, please keep it up. There have NEVER been this detailed planets in a game before.

I didn't know there are objectives, then sorry and i must revise my statement. But still that doesn't yet make it an 'adventure' by a long shot. The truth is, there are better action adventures around for 30 bucks, that are not even in alpha state. I know, this money is for supporting the developer, but why would i want to support a game, which direction remains untold. I'd like a road map that shows me all the planned features, so i can see what to expect from future versions.
I think that is partly the reason that scares many people off to buy the game until now. Right now or are they seem so unorganized, that it seems like they are making the features up as they develop. So if there will to be some 'adventure' features, i'd like to know what exactly is planned and when it's coming.
Hey, thanks for the reply. I can't wait to see some new material. By the way, for which platforms will your game come out, except Windows of course, maybe Android?
without the missions this is kind of pointless
