Pretty sure it's just the K98. The Romanians often used the Mannlicher M1895 I believe, but they used a lot of Mausers and Vz.24's as well.

Agreed; if you're going to include a swastika, it should just be a smaller one under the eagle, like the actual 3rd Reich coat of arms. Just having a big-arse swastika on a flag is simply gaudy and tacky.

By the looks of it, this is my favorite map so far...large, open, but still war-torn and entrenchment-ridden. Hopefully the framerate issues improve in the future, because I tend to have awful FPS despite the fact that I can play larger and newer games on higher settings.

I've been wondering (and sorry if this question has already been asked), if you're in the middle of a combo/ attack chain and you want to stop mid-way or sometime throughout the chain, can you?

It's always been a pet peeve of mine in games that use combo/ chain attacks for you not to be able to stop part-way through your attack to block or dodge. :T

Indeed, it's Fallout 3. People have added space marine, chaos marine, eldar, imperial guard, etc. armors/ weapons into the game, and with one mod all the major races are even made to replace the main FO3 story factions (Enclave = Chaos, Chinese remnants = Tau, Slavers = Dark Eldar, BoS = Space Marines, Mutants = Orks, and so on).

Gorgeous shots :) unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to play it...I've kind of ****** up my game with custom files, and I'm still not sure if my load order is the best it could be...probably the only way to fix everything is to do a complete uninstall and wipe, then start from scratch :T

It all depends on which part of the war this will take place in. The Germans introduced their steel helmets (like the one above) in 1916, where before then they had been using the spiked helmets (pickelhauben; leather). But yeah...I agree that face looks weird.

Things have been going great after I downloaded the little hotfixes - way smoother than things ever were on M&B1. My only problem (while playing for Gondor) thus far seems to be that Gondor has multiple generals and armies, but aside from Prince Imrahil going out a few times, they have all stayed inside their respective castles and strongholds; also keep in mind this is quite a while after the war has started.

Because of this, all the surrounding enemy armies are rampaging through Gondor and forcing the player to pick up an enormous amount of slack. To add to this, Prince Imrahil was defeated a few times and for in-game weeks now has not rebuilt his army at all.

Anybody notice this as well or have any ideas?

On to some bugs...

Ragnarr - from the DL page - already pointed out that a bunch of settlements are in the sea or awkwardly placed; though I'm not sure if their placement is supposed to fit in with the faction's lore somehow. Some of the villages are simply very close to another faction's castles/ villages, and one capital is oddly placed on the side of a mountain...though again, totally possible that those are placed due to faction lore.

The "Start New Game" option takes a long time to finish loading due to a handful of red script errors, and also gives you the Vanilla Warband list of cities to start in, instead of any of the custom ones. In addition, Elven male and female faces cannot be edited/ morphed.

That's all I've uncovered for now!

While the British had a compelling argument for making the colonies help pay back their debts (British troops -did- work both separate from and with colonists to defend cities, towns, and frontiers), the British also spent a lot more in national spending and other wars/ theatres than just in the colonies. This was one reason for the colonists not being very keen on paying taxes (not to mention the fact that this money was being sent back to the Parliament in England).

What's more, said taxes were not implemented/ passed with anyone in the British parliament being present to represent the colonies - something that the colonists (the majority of which being from the British Isles and saw themselves as British subjects) felt was illegal - and technically was. Boycotts on British goods ensued, and many new taxes were repealed, though some stayed. Still, this left a big rift between the colonies and the parliament back in London.

In order to help quell the sparks of rebellion and dissent, the British passed a number of acts. One act restricted town hall gatherings (though this may have only been in Massachusetts; not sure). Another made it so that if a British soldier had been accused of a crime or other infraction while in the colonies, they would be tried back in Britain instead of where the incident reportedly took place. Yet another shut down Boston harbor (a major economic port in those days, of course) until the damages done by the Boston Tea Party were paid in full (which was an act carried out in response to the aforementioned taxes many colonists believed to be unjust). The last of these acts allowed British troops (with order from the local governor, which could be done willy-nilly) to be housed in any person's private home or property (which could then technically be searched) without approval from the owner.

Was actually wondering what the limit on flares would be. Personally I like the idea of having an infinite amount of them as long as they can't be spammed (maybe add a recharge time or something?) and don't offer too much light advantage (which you seem to have covered pretty well already).

I was thinking as I was watching...if I was on the Necro team, I'd go around the flares and use the dark corners and sides and strike him from his flank.

Although, if all the humans were together and all had x3 flares, they could just coat a room in light. Perhaps give only a team-leader flares; or as more humans join the team, have the game automatically adjust the flare amount per person, so if there's a small group of humans, they'd maybe only be able to have 1 flare of their own on the ground at a time.

Either of those suggestions would encourage sticking together and helping each other out, too.

Great character models, and awesome looking hangar...and while the gondola could be moved back a tad, they were generally positioned pretty far towards the front, so not really much of an issue there :)

Also hopping on with the previous posts and agreeing that the zeppelin would look much more grand as a model.

Just curious...I particularly liked the map Shreddingfield in ZPS because you had to get food/ supplies from the super-market, which was a good change of pace...nowadays most games don't really factor in that humans have basic needs, specifically in this case; food.

I have to agree, the mapping does look rather blocky and without a whole lot of variation...on the other hand, the trailer looked very well done and parts looked genuinely creepy, which I think is hard to capture in a source mod, so bravo.
