What will the battlefield maps be like when you encounter an enemy army in the field, or during a siege? Will the besieged city be war-torn and filled with defensive emplacements, then? And will there be trenches, impact craters, etc when you meet an enemy in the field?

Just wondering...I think these would be great ideas, especially considering that as the world militarily progressed out of the 1800's, battlefields tended to become more and more devastated and ruined.

By the looks of it, this is my favorite map so far...large, open, but still war-torn and entrenchment-ridden. Hopefully the framerate issues improve in the future, because I tend to have awful FPS despite the fact that I can play larger and newer games on higher settings.

There's definitely pictures of whiter/ lighter Panzers...while the Russians definitely ran with the winter camo biz, specific Panzer units/ individual crews or elite detachments may have gone out of their way to make or acquire their own. Obviously I'm not certain, though.

Oooooh, that looks pretty :o In that case, best of luck finding someone! It just wouldn't feel like a complete 40k (Guardsmen) game without gruesome melee and bayonet charges.

Looking good. Question though...will the Elven villages, towns, and castles receive a more "Elven" look to them at some point? One of my few disappointments with the Elves is that their cities and settlements don't really stand out that much from the typical Medieval European-esque look.

Things have been going great after I downloaded the little hotfixes - way smoother than things ever were on M&B1. My only problem (while playing for Gondor) thus far seems to be that Gondor has multiple generals and armies, but aside from Prince Imrahil going out a few times, they have all stayed inside their respective castles and strongholds; also keep in mind this is quite a while after the war has started.

Because of this, all the surrounding enemy armies are rampaging through Gondor and forcing the player to pick up an enormous amount of slack. To add to this, Prince Imrahil was defeated a few times and for in-game weeks now has not rebuilt his army at all.

Anybody notice this as well or have any ideas?
