HL2 mods just don't capture the same atmosphere and personality as HL1 mods do...most HL2 mods just feel like a modified clone of at least another HL2 mod in my opinion. Anyways, great work so far. I bet both this and D3ads' Forgotten will be great, hands down. :D
By the way...are there less steps on the stairs...? (referencing the first pics you took of this area)

I always thought a singleplayer co-op (just two people, not like Sven Co-op) mod would be fun, but it'd be a little difficult to implement, I would think...

You have to remember that AoM:DC was in first person...it's a lot harder to make a game that makes people jump out of their seats when they're playing in 3rd-person...

All I can say is "wow" Judging on those few in-game pics you have, as well as the storyline and game-play style you're planning on, this definitely earns a watch :D
To make that simple, there's a door that the player can open in Prisoncity , and it blocks one of the vents that players need to use to get out of the spawn area and into the city area.
Prisoncity and Mall both have respawning hunters, as far as I've seen. Also, when a door is opened on Prisoncity, the door that enters into the longer corridor where the vent leads out, speciffically (also the same hall where the hunters spawn; the door is barred or locked and must be opened from the other side later in the map), the door blocks the way of the vent, only allowing players spawning from a certain cell to be able to proceed into the map through the alternate vent.
Only part I didn't like about some of the maps is, that when you get to a certain point, the way(s) out of the spawn area are swarmed with hunters. (Which respawn, I might add)
I've only played one map so far, maybe got half way...and I played it alone, because my friend bailed out before I finished DLing, but from what I've seen the mod is excellent. I'll be sure to play more once I get a friend or two together. Very nice work and effort, RECB Team.
Amazing, simply amazing. I'm only a short bit into it (not too much past the time of the explosion) but I can safely say this mod is totally sick.
