Very nice game! It is a bit short but I think this could be expandded upon with DLC or possibly an editor and maybe look into everyone's favorite words: procedural generation! Good luck and keep making great games.

BTW it took me several tries to beat the flame throwing boss. In the future I think he could just be a miniboss and you should focus on adding variation on levels, enemies, quests, loot, inventory, etc. With this graphic engine you could make a fortune on STEAM and Desura and other digital distributers.

Basically what I am saying is that with a lot of additional content this game can go from ok to great and make a lot of $ as well.

This game is freaking amazing and it is super hard. I think I am on 100+ generations and I still have not made it too far!

There is a game similar to this that is complete called Oblivion. My neighbor has it on his computer.

This game is worth the $10 and more. Even if it was never updated again I think it is worth the purchase. Not to mention that the game is regularly updated, has crazy replay value, has a lot of personality and the developer listens to players and even answers their questions directly on Desura.

So if you are hesitating to pull the trigger then download the Demo and see how that treats you. It is a challenging game and everytime I die I think to myself "just one more game..."

What is the most difficult part of item creation? Seems like jeans work fine so you could just rename them whatever, change the attribute values and flavor text and picture (pic could even stay the same for whole categories to save time if necessary). I just hope we get to acquire futuristic sporting goods and can then further mod them for a tron meets mad max type vibe.

Possible bug report (maybe) = Basically I attached a scope to a rifle and then I went to add a sling and the scope disappeared. Was my character so bad at crafting he ruined a scope when trying to add a strap to his gun or what? Thanks!

PS I really love the game and I recently upgraded from the demo to the full version after I won a contest on the GOG message boards (cool huh?). Between this game and Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead I am rocking the survival roguelikes (redundant) like it ain't no thang.

I took a long hard belt off of my last 20oz of Dew and hastily wiped the Cheeto crumbs on my sweatpants. It was time to get serious. I was about to make a statement that would shake the foundation of the Indie Game Brotherhood. I was a modern day Robin Hood. I had to steal to stick it to Valve and it's putrid overlord Sir Gaben. Now everyone would know. Now that I have planted the seed of dissent women will openly weep in the streets and developers will reconsider their swearing fealty to Lord Gaben. We have won the battle and soon the war. - herbivore

This game desperately needs 360 controller support. Unfortunately it doesn't work very well on Joy2Key. The reason the game is scored a 6 vs. 9 is the fact that people have trouble with the keyboard when old school platforming.

In the future all indie devs need to realize that a lack of controller support is suicide financially and critically.

It would have gotten better scores if it was a voxel game with crafting and no other gameplay. That is how you get a good score on Desura. Make a Minecraft clone. Sad but true.

Thanks for the info! I've been playing a lot more and I am really digging this game. Can't wait for more updates.

One problem I am encountering is my game is crashing after I use a SUMMON scroll. Any idea why? I lost more time on my save than I care to admit the first time this happened and now I am afraid I might have to start over. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them. Thanks,

Whats up cool duders and dudetters? Do any of the free roguelikes have a presence on Desura? Like ToEM or Crawl Stone Soup?

EDIT: BTW I have never made it to Lord Dredmor and I'm not sure how to feel about that.

Fun game but the amount of spelling errors and grammatical mistakes is insane! I've only played through the first boss and I encountered at least 5 errors. I assume the "creater" doesn't speak English as their first language and someone needs to help them to clean the dialogue and text up in the game. If the developer has it all in one document I am sure someone could fix it fairly quickly and it could be ported to the game code fairly quickly.

This game is awesome and has been greatly improved since I played just a few months ago.

OK I needed to actually set it to log into the EPIXX server on the start screen. Now I am able to talk to folks with the G key. There is also no reason for me to register the game as that appears to be a function of purchasing it directly from the developer.

Nibbe I purchased this game in the Hellish Dungeons Bundle - but the key I have isn't fitting into the registration slot? I remember in the demo version I had (maybe beta? not sure) I was able to chat and see people talking and that was a really cool feature.

Do I need to register? And how do I see people talking like before?

Does anyone know where I can find a walkthrough on mapping the 360 controller to this?

I tried Joy2Key but the interface is really bad and keys are given odd names other than what they should be called which is X, A, B, Y, RB, LB, RS, LS, etc.

Is there a time table until the 360 controller aka PC Gaming's Default controller is native to the game?

This jumps in this game are HUGE and better than in any game I've ever played. You launch off the edge of the edge of level and you ORBIT around and if you time it right and the geometry is right you can extend the jump further by sling shotting around a skinny part of the level! This game is insanely fun and once the map switched so that each team had a full castle on each end I was blown away. I want to play some more so that I can figure out how to get some cool gear like the dinosaur head.

I played during a really bad time, like 4 am, so I only got to play vs. a few real people and then bots. Of course the more real people started showing up the better the game got.

Question: does anyone know if the STEAM version and Desura version both connect to the same servers? If there are more people on Desura I might install it on here instead.

Fun puzzle game that plays like an updated version of Pipe Dream on NES and similar games. Give it a shot and pick it up with some other games on Indie Royale's Mayhem Bundle.

And all of her friends

And they had a problem with his baggy clothes.
