Hey there! I'm Shadow, involved into Unreal-Engine Editing (Coding/Mapping) since 1998, the year Unreal came out of course. My first attempts were small SP-Maps for both Unreal and UT which were never to be released (to n00bish..). While mapping and improving over the time I got heavily influenced by Sci-Fi series and Fantasy stuff in matter of build and architecture. In the year 2002/2003 I initiated a small SP-Campaign which will later be known as the Total Conversion "Lost Secrets of Na Pali" (short: LSoNP). It was cancelled in 2006 and now I'm working on a Development Kit basing on the features LSoNP brought to the Unreal-Engine 1. So much for the Nerd-Stuff. If you want to know more about me, don't hesitate to visit my myspace.

Naja.

And I offer as always my support!

It would have to be recompiled with the Deus Ex specific C++ Headers, and as a consequence it'd need minor and major changes to the core code of the SDK adapted to Deus Ex specific code (or other Unreal Engine Game), but generally it's possible as long as there're public header files available

Yes, latest news: I'm back active and developing again. As first deed I uploaded the Internal Betas from March to May 2010 for study purposes. With Build 161 the releases are officially Open Beta. At the coding level of Objects and Actors we have equal functionality to that of the Unreal Engine 3.x!

Hi!

Naja ich war am überlegen was mit dem UDK zu machen, hatte mir auch mal ne Version runtergeladen, bin jedoch immer noch an der UE 1 hängen geblieben, insbesondere wegen meinem SDK

That's just because there're files left on the computer of my ex-girlfriend, and I don't intend to stay in contact to her for about 5 months now. So there're currently only the Core-Files you saw in the Internal Beta releases. I'm such a lucky boy... seems like I have to rewrite a lot of stuff...

It's not dead... Just had a few problems. Listen, Some parts are missing, but I don't want to hold something back, so starting with August there'll be releases, with or without my lead and work.

This mod is somewhat highly strange, most of it's shipped mutators are not working, playing the maps, with the Real Tournament Category set before, has no effect, playing the new Singleplayer Ladder is mediocre - only some of the features a to be considered "neat", dunno the original authors surely had some good ideas but the execution is really only mediocre - 5/10

Just wanted to let you know, that the Unreal Tournament SDK, is a Mod created with and for the classic Unreal Tournament, it has nothing to do with UDK !

nope I don't know if it completely works on Linux, so it'd be great to have a tester for a linux port !

no worry about the ut version, I work with 436 too, since it's the most stable build, anything beyond, speaking of the build 451, was community made and highly disappointing..

sounds like a good feature request, I'll keep that in mind, but I don't think that I can't implement ALL user-requested features with the first open beta release, nevertheless it's a good idea !

Regarding the UScript/C++ doc: it's not well documented currently, but I will provide a rich illustrated and comprohensive pdf-based documentation for the SDK, not only for it's classes

without it, it'd be rather useless for unexperienced users
