Is... Is that a city on its back?
That polygon count looks positively computer-bumming.
Compressed by a magnetic core and guided by micro magnetic fields? Guided balls of plasma. Also, science fiction buddy, doesn't pay to judge it rigorously by modern day standards of science. Anyway, in canon Covvie plasma rapes all UNSC ships. The only way UNSC ships ever beat Covvies is if they have overwhelming force (very rare) or a huge situational advantage (even rarer). Hence, UNSC got its butt kicked in the war and Covvie plasma is more effective than MAC rounds.
It's better to get things done right than get them done fast. You guys have already achieved so much. Hell, I get to command fleets of ships from unsc to covvies and blow **** up in space battles. My inner child is fulfilled.
With all my fanboy love, good luck.
I love how you kept the Anchor Station style, but made it unique in its own way. Awshum.
I only recently started exploring 3D modelling with blender, and I never realised how amazing and professional the work you guys are doing actually is. Keep the sugar coming folks :D
Holy poop-in-a-bucket, now I understand why Humanity took the ''**** this'' approach when the Covenant came for them.
It is true that imagination is the absolute source of creativity and therefore progress. Science fiction often becomes science fact.
Arguing the finer points refines the ideas and makes them more and more feasible until there are only gaps in scientific knowledge left. Then these can possibly be filled by rigorous experimentation and research. It is a highly constructive procedure.
I am scottish, so just out of curiosity, what university is Alcubierre teaching from?
Nuclear warheads are intricate devices. I hate nit-picking as its sci fi and practically anything goes, but launching a device like that at such high velocities would likely cause a premature detonation. Smash the components together through that kind of acceleration and you will reach critical mass before it leaves the barrel. Very bad for whoever fires it.
How do I install this? I'm usually not this useless, but I have downloaded the update and now I don't know what to do. I tried pasting the mod data over the original Entrenchment data. Didn't work.
A solution to this could be to make the part of the structure the ships pass through consist of hardlight supports. I know it still doesn't make sense for the ships to be able to pass thourgh them, but the Forerunners were crafty folk, I'm sure they could have found a way.
The hard **** shows. My fap goes off to you gents!
I would just like to say, I know some people are getting impatient with how long the mod is taking to advance to the beta stage. They are obviously underestimating the scale and complexity that such a drastic overhaul requires.
I have been following the mod since its inception, and in light of the most recent update, I would like to say you guys are doing a sterling job, and are managing to stay true to the Halo universe. Thanks dudes.
No ****.
This thing seriously needs to be out soon. I am buttfrustrate.
What modeling software do you guys mainly use? I can honestly say that looks as professional as it gets. Wouldn't be shocked to see that level of detail in a high budget console game. Excellent work, I'm saving an extra specal fap for when this mod is released.
So are the detachable ships separate in-game or do they stay locked to the centurion?
Comes on this mod page every day.
Only posted three times.
I would die if you did that. Ive been waiting for ages for this mod, and every time I see more screenshots I want moar :L Can not wait xD
