Hollthulhu @ Real Heroes: Firefighter

I'd like to say that I run Win 7 64 bit and I have no issues getting this game to run! Not really sure what the issue is, but I did read some previous comments, and earlier today I had a game update my .NET framework to 4.5.. so maybe that is why I ran into no issue?

My issue currently is once I get out of the burning building and it asks me to use the vehicle to put out the fires, I click on the vehicle and the game crashes to desktop! Sad times!!! Please fix!

Hollthulhu @ Linden Lab Acquires Desura

I'm not sure how to feel about this right now, I will just have to wait and see how it unfolds for us.

Hopefully, like others have said, LL will not start bringing DRM gaming to Desura. I rather like Desura as-is, so hopefully they'll just continue to polish its features.

Only experience I've had with LL is Second Life, and I've been a user for about 5-6 years now. Don't think I can compare Second Life to Desura, two very seperate things.

Hollthulhu @ The Cat Lady

I got this title in the Groupees BMA. I bought the bundle before this game was added, and when it became an unlockable, I read the title and was all "wtf.. cat lady?" I'd never heard of it before. I was intrigued to play it my next day off work, and I was hooked. I finished it in 2 sessions, and it took a good bit of time to complete, as most games like this do. It was so worth it! What a brilliant story, filled with twists and things that make you think. The characters were easy to relate to, especially Susan.

Has anyoned played this multiple times with different choices? Are there different endings? I'd be happy to play again, if so.

First of all, if you check the website at all, you can find updated releases in the forums. The Devs have also been nice enough to link those updated downloads to the Desura profile.

Yes the game is in Alpha, you knew that when you bought it. So don't complain about it not being "finished". I'm guessing you never got on the Minecraft bus when it first came out, either? I mean, it's okay if you arne't used to Alphas and Betas.. and I mean REAL Alphas and Betas. The Betas big companies put out are generally quite polished up and near completion, where as when you deal with an Indie Developer, they are giving you the nitty-gritty and making you part of the development team because you can provide them feedback to help improve things from the beginning. And if you refer to Open Betas from big companies, then they are pretty much just "previews" of the game that will be released in the very near future.

PZ has been in development a long time, with tons of updates. I really don't see how you missed these unless you just didn't know where to look.
