Good question but let me say truthfully, there is a huge amount of new art in this game and rendering it all in 3D would take forever for me. If I had 4-5 dedicated 3D artists I would make the switch. But right now it's only a dream.

Yes, we are going to implement vehicles and raiders will also attack you in cars. You will not be able to drive around the map like in Fallout Tactics.
The Hanged Man is going to be in the game but it's different from Joshua Graham. You will see ;)

Van Buren's tech demo (BG3 engine) is not suited for game development because there is no source code and dev tools for it. But we reused everything we could from it in FOnline engine (3D models, items, etc.) :)

Combat can be turn-based or real time. You select that in the options.
