How can you make a BF2 mod of this conflict. Wasn't the casualty ratio literally 100-1? I think it's a great idea, but won't most players get bored just sitting waiting to get blanket bombed over and over and over without any chance of retaliation?

Endless waves makes the game feel a bit pointless. Why not have some kind of finale or boss fight at the end, like Killing Floor.

Looking for artifacts?
If we start thinking about that level of realism, you might as well blow up the game start over. What stands out far more to me is how close together the planets/moons are. Thats actually what stopped me playing Freelancer and go back I-War2, the tiny planets.

No. This isn't one of those mods that gets released. This is one of those mods that hovers on the edge of vapourware but never falls in, and just becomes part of the background of your internet life for decades.
Those things are so slow. Don't they hit like 60 with all power to engines? Look good though. :)

OMG I can't imagine that happening to a project of mine. Losing the hardware is annoying... but losing data?!?!
I always back up my project to the cloud every day.
