The Hellsing Vampire Alucard joined Oct 18, 2006

I like anime mostly, and video games, there cool too. And i Love Record of Lodoss War and Hellsing. And i'm currently a tester for Reborn (Somthing i'm frigging proud of after being a fan for this mod for like as long as i can remember XD) Long live Reborn!!

I really think Reavers need longer range. I've tried playing around with them, and to be honest, courpters do their role much better. I think it would be neat to have the Reaver as a longe range light armored hurrasment vehicle that can deal damage from a safe distance and then blink away. a 35% increase in range would be neat

I find that the AI never really uses half of the units to its advantage most of the time, even in 1.6 when i fight Nod it's just Rocket infantry paired with Scorpions the entire match (Which is hard to counter lol) with a few harpies thrown in. GDI is mostly wolverines and rockets with titans most of the game, other games it will use nothing but Orcas on me, even if i have a base full of anti air, it still persists on sending wave after wave of them. I never see GDI use Juggernauts or mammoths most games, Nod likes to commando spam lol. I've only seen one game where the AI used the Mammoth Walker.

I'd rather have it less intelligent not to make the game easier, but to better reflect the all knowingness of it, least then it will maybe send more various tactics out of it. I'd rather see the end of wave spamming it does and favor of smaller more controlled groups of forces.

I find it hard to rush early on though because damage wise the early stuff hasn't got it. I try to make the most cost effective early rush on the harvesters but by then the enemy already has the counter ready for early game rushes. Namely a tone of rockets or whatever tank it picks.

I'll deploy a sniper team away from there base for scouting, i'll keep them stationary, but then a apc and a falcon appear from nowhere and detect and kill them lol. I mean, there would be no way the AI would have seen me deploy them, i can even do it in a corner of a map, and it will still find them.

That's what i hate about 1.51 i find myself having to defend untill the countless wave ends, because moment i start doing something to counter them, the AI magically knows without even seeing my base that i have all air or all infantry, and how does the AI always know where my engineers are? it makes capturing the spikes worthless, because the moment you capture one it sends another, even if you try to defend it with a vehicle or something it will send the perfect counter o it, and if it can't have the spike, then it will destroy it lol. My games in 1.4 have been far more interesting. I've had to redeploy my main base, move around more, use smalller task forces and so forth. Its frustrating that if right from the beginning i'll buy infantry then it spams wolverines and rockets. So i back infantry up with scorpions, then it counters with titans, so i buy rocket infantry, it counters with apcs and wolverines, it's forever countering me before i even know what i'm building myself, so i just find myself building a ton of walls and bunking down untill the wave spam ends.

I went back to playing 1.4 instead of 1.51 and i personally think the balance is better. The AI doesn't send endless streams of vehicles and counter vehicles to your forces, which allows you to set up bases wihtout them magically knowing where all your units are. (currently my biggest gripe with 1.51) And i find the balance in general between the units is better too, and overall the units are much faster. Should keep my busy untill 1.6

Looks like the PAC will be able to engage air targets once again in 1.6 if the change has stayed.

I just worry about Scrin though. GDI are going to get the Kodiak which is a heavy anti air airship, Scrin only have the Storm Riders which are capable of attacking air from the air. I think it would be pretty epic to see PACs have air domination battles against the Kodiak. :D

CNC3/Kanes Wrath lol. It's always been able to. I don't think though they should have to require the signal becon transmitter if anything the only unit that should require it is the Scrin super unit. Then again, we're going to end up having a discussion about Scrin balance again, and with a release so close, i'd rather wait untill after the release. Because Scrin might be better in 1.6

Okay? the mod shows up in the launcher and i select it, but it goes straight to vanilla 1.9 :/
