"Alert the patrols, and check in with the guards. Find out what is wrong." The operator quickly start transmitting out the notices and checks in with all guard posts one by one. In the meantime Bitz turns to one of the other operators.

"Get me the security footage from the irrigation plant."

Outside Ladsk watches the slaves go to the housing area, staring them down as he felt was needed. A few wisps into the air with his tongue and he notices a new smell in the air and its not the slaves or guards. If one had been spending a few days at this place, one would either stink of ****, or the very delicate smell of the plants they were harvesting. Whomever had past this area, smelled very clean in comparison.

He begins to investigate.

*As explosions from enemy grenades happen between the droids behind the entrenched troops, Zoras ordered the troops to respond in kind and they throw Thermal Detonators into the smoke and reminded them to keep and for enemy grenades there were to end up in the trenches.

The PAT's weren't fooled by the enemy troops going to a crawl as their motion sensors tracked them despite the smoke and continued their laser fire unhindered, now having targets that even moved slower.

The AT-AE's started being constantly on the move as the enemy artillery seemed to be able to target them directly.

Zoras sent a message back to the command center, that he had a two special missions for his SIC, one of them starting to jam the enemy communication and put a stop to the targeted artillery fire made possible by the spotters on the mountains and he were set up the jamming station between some of the larger and sturdier buildings of the city as to better conceal it. The other mission was based on a hunch.

The remaining MAAT's now reached the upper atmosphere and turned around, in a sort of dive bomb, having gotten a better view of the enemy position son the mountain when they flew over it, they now launched several HE missiles each on a vertical trajectory, complete emptying their magazines at then enemy positions, spreading out the missiles to as much of an area effect as possible, and afterwards pulling up from their decent and dispersing out over the city.*

The chaffs deployed by the Candorous tanks are largely ineffective and the dumb-fired rockets hit their targets, with some still missing though, as they weren't guided.

With most of the enemy vehicles either destroyed or scattering, Crossfires moves in an attacks the infantry line from above, some of them attempting to distract enemy remaining AA out in the open first.

The Naast Droids were fast and manages to slow down and confuse the AT-AE's. However the Speeders were even faster, deploying Turrets along the way to help deal with the droids.

From the sidestreets, Battledroids engage the Mandalorian infantry, supported by Ruusan militia, the engagement seems favorable as the Mandalorian have just diverted squads away.

In order to avoid too many losses against the Reciprocators, although not dedicated a anti-starfighter vessels, the Bombers were focusing their firepower on the Keldables and Agressors and of course still going against the Flagship.

The bombers made a final run against the Interdictor wells on the Mandalorian flagship, followed quickly by another shot from the HP-gun on the surface of the planet, breaching the shield and doing some damage in the area, disrupting the Gravity wells.

In front of the Nebulas the Endurance carries lost their shields and took heavy damage from the fire, one of them even breaking in two as massive explosions surged throughout the ships.

Malan was witnessing it all from the bridge. "Commander". He called for his second in command. "Are the hyperdrives ready?" - "Yes sir, shall I give the signal?"

"Aye". Malan responded. There was nothing more they could do here. The fleet, what was left of it, set a course towards Uoro'cor and entered hyperspace. The starfighters soon followed.

Once again he was looking at the HoloMap of the system. The Mandalorians was now flying through the wreckage of the first engagement at Deysum. Allot of starfighters and bombers where floating around, having been victims of the Buzz droids or Corvette fire.

The Hypervelocity gun fires at another Venator, just as the Mandalorian ships enters weapon range.*

FEDERATION SENATOR:

"You spoke well, Mr. Thain." The Senator said and gave a small bowing gesture. Some also noticed that this was the same Senator who made the spontaneous public speech on Eriadu.

"In light of these events, the Federation extends an offer of military aid to the neutral sectors who wish it. However, the Federation in uncomfortable with risking a potentially very straining conflict, so in order to hopefully avoid both further aggression from the Mandalorians and more conflicts, we propose a treaty, we propose membership into the Federation."

He continued after taking something to drink; "I shall now bore you with going through the entire Treaty and you have all had it in advance for some time now. Basically what this treaty means is that you are offered full membership in the Federation, with each sector getting a predetermined number of seats on the Senate based and size and the number of systems. Locally, you retain your own security, government and to a certain extent, your own laws. The latter part meaning that the Federation preserve the right to enforce nation wide Laws and Acts like, The Right of Sentience or Laws against certain products proclaimed Illegal by the Senate.

You can all of course look further into this, as all this Legislation is for public viewing on the Holonet. Now a short break where you can talk internally and think a little of what I have said. As soon as you are ready, we will continue and the word can be passed around for those who wish to speak, or perhaps have already decided.

The Rangers continued their fire and started an orderly retreat as those farthest away from the river retreated under cover fire by other ranges, who targeted the enemy cavalry. Faramir saw the Rider headed the Mordor, drew and arrow and shot him. The other rider got away as he headed in the other direction. In this instance, the dense forest became an advantage to the Haradrim.

While the forest did catch fire in some areas, the rangers were to mobile and quick to be caught or trapped by any fires. It turned out to be more of a hindrance for the horses of the enemy cavalry than the Rangers

As the rangers retreated further and further back, the forest became much less dense. The Rangers had horses ready there, prepared for a quick retreat over the river, where a few small barricades had been built in haste.

+1 vote   media: Quick Question
Headhunter128
Headhunter128 May 30 2013, 6:31am says:

I see your point, it is valid. However, maybe, you just need to look at it like that the Soldier Skill tree, is just making you a better Soldier. It is a natural effect that your fellow soldiers will feel safer or more confident around you due to your success. In a way, the Soldier skills tree could also be labeled "Survivor".

The Combat Expert, is there because of both Mandalorians and Force users. If someone chooses to be neither, but still wants to be a Soldier/warrior, that person would need to work hard in order to compete even on a minimum level. The Combat Expert is an investment to even the odds a little. Although of course it shouldn't mean that you shouldn't be careful about attacking fx a force user.

Now, I am going to remove the Inspiring leader because I just realized that it is technically impossible to max out. And it is more or less worthless without commanders. So yes, that one is obsolete, but not for the reasons you specified.

I guess you could say that, besides the commander path, the Military part of the skill tree could also be called "Soldiers Luck". Because when facing Mandalorians and force users, it is hard to really compete, luck is needed in order to justify balance.

But maybe that is because I find the idea of someone indirectly investing in dum luck and that person uncanny ability to survive funny xD

The Exterior Union, nor the Pentastar Alligment is present. However there is still the possibility to re-create your faction. (More details on that pending). But to help you out, you can consult this in preparation for the future. Should people agree on our proposal.

From the Advanced Guidelines, that have been devised. If you feel your factions lives up to the below. Then there is a chance that whoever will be GM's in the future allows for the faction to be created. (Disclaimer: The procedure below is not necessarily the final product)

"In Order for a faction to be created the following procedure is required for a final entry into the galaxy as a faction.
Step 1
- At least 3 Active members
- A agreed upon Faction Leader
Step 2
- The reason and motive for its creation needs a valid (Meaning reasonable and plausible) reason, both IC and OOC, those reasons need to be reviewed and accepted by the Game Masters.
- By the end of the week they must have a finished group that publicly shows their existence and contains things like, Fleet list (If they have any), army/fleet composition and so forth.
Step 3
The Game Master decides the immediate result from the faction's emergence, both internally in the faction and externally, depending on the information given and the circumstances, not the roleplayer."

I think that if we can change the past, whether it be for characters or events. Then the past will lose its value and for the most part, it's validity.

It should also be noted that many other people in this RP have chosen new chars because the baggage the past often brings with it. I know that if I ruled the Fel Empire today with Cronus, I would never hear the end of it, no matter if he had really returned to the light side or not.

Just two things that crossed my mind. Carry on fellows! :)

Jedi and Sith got the force, the Mandoes got Beskar, and it should stay that way. But either have a reasonable debate with Praxis FIRST, and if no conclusion and/or agreement can be made, then speak with the GM's, which I am sure can deal with this very quickly.

If we are referring to "The Big bang" the above picture is still wrong as both Atheism and Science (Since you people think it means the same) does NOT conclude there was nothing before as the pic above seem to think, no it is the belief that there actually were something from before the Big bang. That alone that whoever made the above conclusions have no working knowledge of the current science in regard to this.

And before someone says, "but Big bang and theories of what came before is only theories and cannot be proven". I say, yes, this is correct. BUT, it doesn't disprove the theory. If you seriously believe that theories, no matter how scientifically supported, are hokum... Then I can say the exact same thing about God. Everything else are it is complete hypocrisy.

We may not have all the answers, but it doesn't mean they don't exist or that the only one who knows is a form of deity. And by your own logic, if there HAS to have been some deity to create the universe. Then I ask you.

Who created God?

I hope I answered all your questions, now jugding my former experiences I feel inclined to include this.

Not trying to disprove, attack or deny you having your own beliefs, nor is it my intention to insult. Merely defending my own beliefs against a very poor argument against Atheism and science. Have a nice day and avoid Black cats, we all know they bring bad luck! ;)

Part 1:

Incorrect. It did go "kablooey" - Although I admit I am not entirely sure what that word means.. Lol

Evolution is a series of accidents stemming back to the very first life coming to be in the form of different Amino-acids coming together and forming the first cells and from there have evolved through genetic mutation into the lifeforms we both are can observe today.

"How do you know this?" you may ask. Good question! It was a few billion years ago wasn't it? ;) Well the confirmation of the theory is only quite recent. But deep in the ocean, scientist have observed this basic interaction forming in locations where there is geo-thermal activity and presence of the various elements available. So even today this basic from of life is created some places on earth. Proving, that unless "god" seeks to make a new species to replace us, evolution is accidents or pre-determined results forming when the circumstances are right.

If you take the argument that there are no such thing as "Accidents". Then I guess God is a horrible person, because he deliberately kill people at random whenever someone slips and break their neck.

Oh and if you want a little background to back this up. Denmark was doing really well around 1200AD

"The Great Period of the Valdemars 1157-1241
That is how Danish historians describe the period which followed. Under Valdemar the Great (Valdemar I), and his two sons Canute VI and Valdemar the Victorious (Valdemar II), the power of the Crown was decisively strengthened. The Wendic tribes which had terrorised the land were also defeated at this time, and the Danish territory expanded considerably. In 1169 the Danes took over Arkona, a Slavic place of worship on the island of Rgen, and put it under the Episcopal seat of Roskilde. In 1219 they gained control of Estonia during the crusades. Holstein was also incorporated into the extensive kingdom of the Valdemars and the town of Lbeck paid homage to the Danish king as their overlord. Danish power culminated around 1200, and Valdemar II rightly bore the byname Valdemar the Victorious."

Above Correlia, the 3rd Defense Fleet is fully prepared.

20 Imperious Class SD's have lined up in a cohesive front line. With 25 Scythe's divided in two and put on each flank. Gravity mines have been deployed in numbers behind the fleet and guarded by some Corona frigates. The rest of the Corona's are put in between the front line forces to guard against enemy bombers and startfighters.

Eduranace Carriers deploy Bombers and startfighters, which from into groups ready to strike at any enemy startfighters, bombers and flanking forces.

Majestic's line up behind the fleet, to provide firing support with their long range guns.

The defenses above the worlds of Corellia power up and are manned and The Space installions Guarding the shipyards behind the fleet ready themsleves for boarding and enemy startfighter raids.

There is absolutely no reason for this to get our of hand. The ONLY problem here is that some doesn't consider how other may re act to certain things.

Ori'Verda, No one, want to go through the details of every single unit in the RP. Sometimes one must trust that the creator can balance things fairly. What did you think we would say about an entire fleet teleporting from one end of the galaxy to another? If you want people to stop scrutinizing you. Then take a good honest look at what you are doing and think about what others may think.

You want a cannon power? The Jedi Council have the power to take the force away from anyone here in the RP. We have NEVER done so, even though it is a cannon thing. Why? Because we actually took a look at things from the opposite side of the view.

Also NO ONE here in the RP have the power to destroy a planet. A large group of powerful force users could probably do it, but there is way to few here in the RP.

What does the rules say about force powers?

14# Force Powers: - Don't abuse this. We all want to be as powerful as Luke Skywalker and Palpatine. But this will result in people throwing Star Destroyers at each other. And some forcepowers can't be used at the same time. If you insist on making a 100 ships appear using the force (And I bet everyone can do this all the sudden proving my point above) Then al least please respect that such things would require quite a bit of concentration.

Now, I don't mind that you arrived at Malachor Ori'Verda, only wanted a fair "how". If Sab3r could get there, it is only fair that I allow you too to come.

In all the sectors, the many battalions of clones still there prepare. Many of the non-automated defenses, from the NSO war, come online and is manned. They engage the smaller automated defense immediately and open fire.

Machalor:

All the remaining Sith fleets are assembled in orbit (Can someone from the NSO update me on this?). When Sab3r fleet arrives they open fire immediately.

And yes, it was fully within my right as GM to undo his mistake.

According to your logic, had you as leader of the NGR decided to kill everyone in the NGR with WMD's. And Had you still been leader to this day and done it. You would have made the northern galaxy a barren wasteland and ruined it for everybody else.

The thing is, I don't think a lot of people ever visit the Forums. When people check the Jedi Order Group, they look in the comment field. (From what I know).

If you mean just for the Jedi Council, then I'm sure we can make use of it, but if the intend is to draw more people or making the group more active with us talking there, then I'm not so sure.

Headhunter128 Dec 23 2011, 7:19am says:

Lol. The Silentium is too live up the RP a little and to make a fun twist to it all. That AK choose to destroy the NGR was not the best choice. He should have started from the Unknown regions and attacked the Chiss, NSO and GA.

The new Sith armada however, is an attempt to cheat their way to being the dominant power again because they can't pull of their original move again without loosing badly.

Btw. The Silentium are Presumed.. to be peaceful. It is a guess. If you want more reason or cannon basis for their attack, then look at their "Children". They sent them out to study the galaxy, when looking at their history, it is very possible that they were studying our weaknesses for at pre-emptive strike. Because they would soon realise how big a threat the rest of the galaxy is to their own existance and they may have attacked as a means of self-defense.

If you say so.. Lol. I know what thoughts crept within your mind when delta assumed the mantle of the Dark Lord of the Sith Empire. You can deny it all you want, but you won't fool me. If it wasn't for the fear of Darth Xerstroung siding against you, you would have attempted to take power. If not, then you are more of a gray Jedi than Sith. - In my opinion - You see the Jedi teachings as I see Sith teachings "massively flawed".

No. The Republic would not wait for them to become too strong. But as it later turned out. Acting against them only served the Mandalorians purpose. Not everything is in black and white. Had they not acted. The Mandalorians would not have known how weakened the Republic actually was and they could not have pulled of the war as succesfully as they did.

"The Jedi High Council was hesitant to be drawn into another armed conflict. Only thirty years earlier, the fallen Knights Exar Kun and Ulic Qel-Droma had successfully led a host of Jedi to the dark side and thence to war with the Republic. The resulting struggle with the Sith took a very heavy toll on the Jedi Order and it had yet to fully recover. In the face of a looming Mandalorian threat, the Jedi Masters grew cautious lest they repeat the mistakes of the past; they were wary of the dark side and they sensed that an unknown hand was at work behind the new war."

The Jedi Order did not want to enter the war because they feared it would result in more harm than if they did not, and by not joining ,,protected the republic,,. The Jedi did not refuse to join because of the Sith, but because they feared it would corrupt the Jedi that fought in the war (And at the time, the Jedi order was also greatly weakened by all the wars and conflicts). It happend with Exar Kun and his dark Jedi, and as it turned out later in the end of the Mandalorian wars. The Jedi council was in the end proven right when Revan and Malak returned as Sith.

It's true that their fall might have been prevented if the Council had intervened in the Mandalorian wars, but the future is unpredictable. It could have turned out much worse. "Allies" can be interpreted differently. The relation between the Jedi and the Republic is an understanding. The Jedi serve the Republic so we have oversight - as I stated "For the good of the galaxy" - and we are the Republics conscience in return. The SITH is our juristiction, not the Mandalorians. Besides, had it not been discovered that he was a Sith Lord, he might have been asked by the Senate to give up his powers anyway. The Republics wars with others, such as the Mandalorians are not why the Jedi serve the Republic. How can we claim to be the protecters of the light and then help the Republic when it choose not to do the right thing? The Mandaloriens are just looking for a fight and sometimes, so are the Republic. It's unfortunate that we cannot always convince the Reoublic to do the right thing, but it doesn't mean we have to help them in their wrongdoings.

The "Rule of Two" is not the only Sith philosophy out there in praxis. (The Sith Empire here on ModDB does not follow that, you have your own system.)

Check!
