Just wanted to say this the all the fans that are waiting for this. I emailed the creator and basically it's not dead. Even though he doesn't have as much time to work on it as before he is still working on it. No release date is known but he is not quitting as he's put way too much work into it. So hopefully we will see it eventually.

Can you say at this time if it is likely that the german version with subtitles and other translated texts will be released simulanteously along with the pure german one?
No but I'd play it just because the game itself is so good fantastic RPG you won't regret it ;-)

did anyone notice he took a lot of levels from freedoom. like the geometry is exactly the same he just changed the gameplay and details/doodads
guys... this is beautiful. some of the tracks remind me of wow's old soundtrack greatness except yours sound somewhat tragic as if the world is broken. after listening to this I am again stoked just like in the beginning when it was announced. :)

who in his messed up mind created the casino part?? xD Just joking that was an amazing part but so out of place compared to the rest of the game (in a good way). The hanged people were disturbing but the scariest part was when you were approaching the banging door and you suddenly hear footsteps and 'something' walking past by you behind the stained glass. Not knowing what that was really makes it uncomfortable. Even though the 'creature' was scary enough I couldn't imagine how it would fit inside the hl2 world. What even was that? Sorry for the long post the casino really surprised me. :D

Nice mod but short. I was genuinely disturbed by the overall atmosphere and the sounds more so than typical jumpscare horror mods. I liked that. And when I saw that giant skinned ****** in the empty house I immediately gibbed so I knew he wouldn't rise to get me haha. I was a bit let down there were no other weapons. Some powerful rifle or a classic hunting shotgun would have made the combat a lot more fun, maybe some tnt too. I also really liked the dialogue. Did you write it yourself? It really fitted the time period and and not a singe line felt like a cliche it was really unique.

not sure if intentional or not but 357 and crossbow ammo give double the amount than usual, also if you pick up the weapons for the first time you automatically get full ammo for it. not really good because these weapons are really powerfull and giving so much ammo for it is quite a bit unbalanced.

individual objects are harder to spot in Skyrim maybe that makes more sense. Oblivion was a bit cartoonish maybe but I think it didn't distract from the experience. Nehrim did not at all look cartoonish and in fact was more gothic while still keeping everything clear and sharp looking.
I kinda get what you mean about the graphics but I think that's the fault of the engine. Skyrim is somehow not as sharp as Oblivion. Skyrim is blurry somehow while Oblivion was vibrant and picturesque.
so what if it is december be thankful it is coming... assume they starting development in 2012 that means the game is coming out in less than 4 years that's actually pretty quick for a mod considering nehrim took over 4 years.
