Not at all. Many, many things have multiple names.
The A-10 Thunderbolt II, to use as an example, can be called its full name, A10, Thunderbolt, Warthog, or Hog, and all will be recognized as the same thing. It's perfectly normal.
Of course, as SoTP have indicated, they will formally call this ship the Halberd now to keep in line with canon, but they can still informally refer to it as the Thanatos and be understood without issue by their fans. New fans will have a short adjustment period as they connect "Thanatos" with "Halberd", but then they will have no trouble recognizing what someone means when they say Thanatos.
You misunderstand what I said.
I did not deny that the official name is now Halberd. Rather, I said that we (the fans in general) can keep calling it Thanatos if we want and there is nothing 343 can do about it.
Nice thing about Real Life is I can say this:
Halberd? I only see a Thanatos there.
(I have negative desire to imply this is something that should be argued about. No one can force anyone to call it a Thanatos OR a Halberd, so simply accept that both are now true and roll with it. I, for one, obviously prefer Thanatos.)
AI is hard-coded in Sins. Which means it can't be modded. Mods either have to work with it or ignore it, which means some mods WILL be multiplayer only.
I'm pretty sure the vanilla Sins justification for all the lights is that all the worlds are already heavily populated and you're just establishing control over them. That's why every planet is able to afford a defending militia fleet.
Amusingly, I saw a discussion on the Aurora forums about this exact terraforming effect a week or two ago.
Ivy is best Internet Pony. And best internet.
It sorta looks like an anvil, but it definitely needs improvement.
It's supposed to be about 30 feet tall, I think.
What's bothering me is how the barrels of the guns are angling down, but the turret isn't.
No, I'm pretty sure it's 3pm, because eastern time is five hours behind GMT.
Awesome! I just hope the moons get similar shadowing to the planets, otherwise it'll look bad.
Those are clearly missles flying through space, however, there are probably a bunch of autocannons too.
Yes, Lord Hart can't resist the cute little ponies, either.
Oh, and hi.
The wording is a little immature, but I still like it!
Wait, were you talking to me, Falleen?
Aren't they firing missiles?
Thanks for the responses, I was mainly just bringing up the point, and I did think only the planets in a system were linked like that.
The only other problem I can think of with the phase lanes like that is the visual clutter.
Oh noooes... the ramp fell down! Quick! Somebody go hold it up with their body!
Is that city in ruins?
Deepest apologies for comment spam.
Argh... reply to Res_Novae stupid comment!
Well, I did say "very roughly", but I was asking for a Rodina to Odessa comparison. Which pretty much only the devs could give an answer to.
Love the Light Shipyard icon. ;)
I can't wait for the Odessa to be revealed, and then the Rodina. How much bigger, roughly, is the Rodina going to be than the Odessa, given the Odessa is, very roughly, three times bigger than the Retivvy?
This has been around awhile, but it's definitely still funny.
Heh, you could have some fun with a captive colossus.
I think you should have pulled out the ballista a long time ago. Because everyone carries a ballista around, just in case.
Yes, make it possible to shoot it down, but make it to where units won't target it without orders.
However, this would reduce its effectiveness against ai players as they would notice it and order their units to destroy it.
I doubt it. After ammunition, crew, and the loading mechanisms for the gun, the remaining space would be negligible.
Clearly your pencil is in need of an upgrade then!
Don't worry about having trouble with english; I know it really well, and I STILL suffer from misspellings and mispronunciations all the time.
The sign is clearly a coach-stop.
But why are "liGHT" and "niGHT" spelled "gth?"
Create battle clones of Bonbon. lol
One day later and it would have been Nightmare Moon!
They come in boxes and then you send them packing in pieces!
Is it "Spot the Difference" or something like that?
I just noticed that in the background of this picture there is a UI box that says:
"...r of Orion"
I love how there's as many Brummbars as there are infantry in this scene.
Where's the eighth?
The unit quotes on this mod are the best.
That's pretty nice. I like the silvery hull color.
The "yay!" at the end is the best part.
The quotes make the mod 20% cooler, at least.
Yes, but most of us are above 15 and go to school.
And the name is simple and informative, in my opinion.
Stupid heli... *boom* He won't be bothering us anymore!
I'm pretty sure a runway is "realistically" inferior to the easily shielded hangar they have on the 2142 Titan, but I would bet you're right. Rule of cool comes first, although I would find it amusing if the runway could be strafed.
I suspect this Titan will have inferior weapons to the 2142 one, although we will see.
Looks like a Vasari siege frigate icon at an odd angle.
I'm sure we've all seen professional stuff that is WORSE, so...
The wreck kinda looks like it belongs to the enemy, with the black hull and whatnot.
He's not asking to be able to build more components on the bottom. Do you see how all the bottoms are identical? He is suggesting that each component have not only the top structure as they do now, but also a bottom structure.
So say you build a crammed living quarters on a hex-base, and it puts the big blocky tower on top, but then it also puts several smaller towers or some-such "hanging" off the bottom.
What is considered an artifact is so subjective that no single image can encompass "artifacts".
Maybe the Genie's lamp from Aladdin for the antiques shop? There's lots of famous artifacts throughout history that would make a sufficient picture. The Ark of the Covenant, for example, has a very distinct shape.
I'm pretty sure that's a vanilla Sins one.
Okay, this image is hilarious.
You might want to clarify, because though it is clear you don't like the grey coloring, the rest of your post is vague.
Bad, bad phone! Don't downvote him!
I mistakenly figured the bow was too obvious... Fail.
Minecraft landscapes seem pretty bland to me, some small parts are interesting, but there's no large, interesting features.
You should check out the cubic chunks suggestion and the epic landscapes it would allow.

Felynea's Gallery: Equestrial Balance (2400X1992)
Why didn't you find this on her deviantART page?
Omigod! 1000 units! Yay!
For me it's a toss-up between this and 1942 with the Battlegroup 42 mod.
This coloration perfectly improves on the original drawing.
Go Luna-tic! Go us! I visit here virtually every day too, but multiple times a day as well.
Wouldn't it be even funnier if Spike was in the bakery, and that was the last place Twilight looked for him.
I don't think having all the gravity wells linked to each other is such a good thing, for it removes almost all the choke points. It's hard to defend core planets when capturing an outer asteroid allows access to all the planets.
However, bigger gravity wells and more ships is always a plus.
The footwork looks a little awkward.
He must have some really awesome camouflage.
That planet looks awesome.
No, Macross Missile Massacre.
