where it could be improved.
Brushwork detail-architecture (most of the detail seems to be done with props)
color correction- would really give it dark feel.
The lighting could be worked on but its nice that you have added point_spotlight and dustmotes.
also you should always have each wall consist of more then one brush or it just looks plain. try adding some more detail because the engine can easily handle it :D
nice job but look forward to seeing it in its a finished product stage:D

how long have you been mapping for? i think you should just try adding more brushwork to the maps. because the walls seam abit plane, also wouldent use ep2 content if you dont plan on us having to own ep2 to play

i have used env_projected texture before but it allways affects my flashlight? do you know how to get around this?

Single player is still in production,
i will however be releasing it in chapters so the public will get there hands on it quickly.
For progress tho i have finished 99% of the layout and 80% of the detail of the first chapter
now im just going to start working on the gameplay and everything we look for in a single player mod.
also this is just one small part of the chapter. i have tried to add this much detail to every single part of the chapter-and will keep adding detail till i hit the limits of the source engine.
no, you're going to be alone. There will be a story line and such. but i want the player to feel alone and this will help with the mood in many situations.

did you try adding a specular map to some of the rocks?
if your going to use block textures, i could make some normal and specular maps for them? would really be a visual upgrade
try building the map first (not demosished) then go back and demolish parts
there are many things unlreaistic about this,
1st you have a rock texture on the floor instead of rubble and the brush work just seems like youre making big boxes and adding detail to them, you need architecture, i dont know its really hard to tell what to improve because its such an early W.I.P

it will be available and it will be release in chapters, i have finished 80 percent of the first chapters detail/layout and then will be working on the puzzles more and cinematic scenes and all that stuff you would expect in a sp mod :)
