You have to use cheats for that unfortunately
during race time, simply type "LAPMYLOVEPUMP", and then add a lot of credits by pressing shift-f1
then wreck some other drivers and you can buy those cars after the race is finished.
also disable the time with f8, so that way you can race all tracks at ease
Hi TheDav28, thanks for making a video. I changed the cars of the mod mid-development because I thought it would look better with a rollcage and no windows... I got many people asking me why I did that, so I guess not everybody agrees with me :) I'm not working on the mod anymore, so it will stay this way, but now you know why ;)
Hi Koma, sorry to hear that this bug in race two is still present... for now, you can use a cheat code to get past it. Ingame, type "lapmylovepump", and then press f10 repeatedly. This cheat (originally for carmageddon 2) will push you through the checkpoints.
Thanks! I am aware of the death bowl and the fact that the opponents stay alive. I devised a way to kill them once falling in, but it made the game crash, so I decided to remove it before release. Good to hear the rest of the game is great for you!
again, did you install it in a clean directory? It runs fine here if I install it. Also use a glidewrapper! The game is old and needs it!
did you try it?
Oh god, how long has this message been here... Why don't I get emails when there are new comments! damn.
I just re-installed the mod here, and it runs fine. Did you install it in a new directory, or did you overwrite the old installment.
Also, don't forget to use a glide wrapper as it says in the readme!
ouch, that is a real shame! I thought I had checked and double checked all the race settings. I currently do not have much time to edit the mod and fix it, so I suggest you either cheat your way further or wait for me to fix it. I will get on it as soon as life will allow me to ;)
:o
can you tell me what you did. You know it is a complete package? No original game files needed.
where are you from? I have never heard of this problem in the 10 years that carmageddon exists...
I must say I am curious about that Silo 4 area you are talking about. It sounds like you have payed extra attention to creating a good concept for that one when I hear you speaking about the outside area and the lava tunnel. Do you have some dev-shots or you want to keep the surpirse? :p
Thanks!
yes, it seems the carmageddon community has become a lot thinner over the years. There is still work done though, most of it now happening over at DEVwam ; Devwam.toshiba-3.com
The tracks are as accurate as possible. Physics are harder to recreate, as both games are quite different. However yes, I am aiming for a similar physics behaviour.
It is not that hard to run carma 1 and carma 2 on modern systems. We nowadays run carma 2 with glide wrappers as Nglide for windows 7 and Zeckenacks Glide wrapper. (provided you use the superV2 patch also found on DEVwam)
Carma 1 can be run using d3dwindower and Nglide/dosbox. (didn't test the latter one though)
actually I put some of this work on my portfolio; www.harmsollie.nl :p
well, you need to use a glide wrapper (a program that emulates the glide API)
If you are on windows 7 you will need to install NGlide; Zeus-software.com
I'm sure it will work after this
you don't need to get carmageddon for this, as it is a total package.
both games are quite different. All the models have been recreated from scratch ;)
Well look at that! You uploaded a lot of cool images already. I see the extended header is working properly :p
Thanks! Yes videos and images are essential for bringing the message. I will be uploading the other ingame footage asap.
Yeah, I will use this place for updates more also... :) Thanks for pointing it out to the people enigmaTLOD
@ Wrawedas,
you're right about that. The Crazy-trainer included in the zip has been giving a virus warning. This started about a month ago, before I uploaded this stuff. The trainer never gave this warning before. I still believe the trainer is harmless, but If you don't trust it you can allways find a different trainer to get around the map quickly.

Hi,
yeah I see what you mean, I think it can be done but I really haven't thought of all that yet. I must warn you that about the mission coding, I still have to learn everything, so I think I will start with only basic mission coding. See? By the way, thanx for all the reply's and comments
