It should be extremely easy to do, which means you could download the source code and do it yourself. Modders and source port devs work to achieve their own goals; if your goals are different, it's worthwhile to learn how to download the source code, open it into an IDE (like Visual Studio), and modify and build it on your own. For simple things like changing the tone mapping function, little to no knowledge of programming is required, so it's pretty accessible to newbies.

Absolutely amazing work, I can't wait to try it.

The T/A was in X-Wing, this is based off the model from that game. The TF model was quite different.

Re: SP - That was indeed the problem, created a new profile and SP works just fine.

Game crashes to desktop upon trying to enter single-player mode in this version.

Also, in 1v1 games vs CPU, the AI never seems to want to build frigates or capital ships (unless I build nothing at all), all of its preferred counters seem to be fighters and corvettes, even when resources are a non-issue. Games get monotonous really fast when the CPU player only ever builds minelayer corvettes and attack bombers.

Otherwise I quite like it.

There is no bioluminescence, nor was there ever, though he does plan to add that in the future. This version has lava/thermal glow on procedural planets, and city lights on Earth.

It doesn't download any data to run. It is all generated by the program using procedural generation. It is amazing what modern computing can do, isn't it? :)

I'll understand if getting the campaign to work is too much, but PLEASE at least release all the ships for multiplayer as best as you can, that would be far preferable to letting the mod just fade away, and it would mean a lot to us classic HW fans :)

Why would you have to re-download anything? If for some reason ships cause a crash for you, simply open the spacecrafts.cfg file and delete everything from it, or just remove the file entirely. This will clear all ships. And if the program crashes, it loads back up at the last place you exited from before, so whatever ship you made which caused the crash won't exist.

Anyway, there's no reason why ships themselves should cause any crashes, and I've never heard of anyone having crashes because of ships (except you, I suppose).

I agree, though it's worth pointing out that SpaceEngine existed long before Space Engineers.

What do you mean you can't aim with the mouse? You point the camera wherever you want by holding the left mouse button and dragging the mouse, like with many 3D programs. That, combined with the typical WASD keys for moving the camera should make control relatively easy. Anyway, most of the controls can be customized in the control menu, in case you don't like the defaults.

You simply fly the camera down to the planet and land on it, and fly around to see what you want. Use the WASDRF keys to move the camera, and the mouse wheel to change the speed.
