My name is Harald. I come from Latvia, a small country near Lithuania and Estonia. I like art and science, a bit of history too. Lately I have found out I can make some simple 3D models, so I gave it a shot and started modelling. My first project for which I started modelling was FOnline:2238 which is a MMORPG based on Fallout 2.
Those shadows have been there since ID tech 3 was released. Sadly, all the shadows are all buggy and they occasionally bug through walls and stuff.
minecraft wiki...
:O That looks epic!
An extremely well made game for it's time and still contests with some new titles.
Well, with hacks and other mods you can do not only that, so does it really count? No.
Also, note that Jeb stated dragons are not in this pre-release yet.
1.9 Pre4 available: Bitly.com
Awesome? He just f*cked up your world! Nah, it's cool :P I hope we can tame it so we can get to bedrock faster... And maybe even lower than bedrock.
At first I thought like "Flares? What does flares have to do with a shooter? Like you throw them at enemies or something?" And then I looked at the picture to realize you were talking about lens-flares :P
It's called Work in progress or WIP for short.
I find it funny that Burgers sponsor football... Like, aren't burgers bad for sporty people? :P
When I saw the name of the mod I thought it's gonna be a mod for GTA: VC that makes it have skins and stuff like in Far Cry xD
That'd be epic!
It looks too cool to be true! :O

I guess it's meant to be more of a joke :D
Tried it in Creative mode. First thing I did is enter The Nether as I heard Jeb did some updates there. First thing I noticed there are 4 new items and 2 new blocks.
Items:
* Ghast tear (ghasts drop these, have no purpose)
* Blaze rod (A new fire elemental drop these, have no purpose)
* Something red that looks like the ghast tear and doesn't have a name tag.
* Something that look like seeds named Nether Wart.
Blocks
* Nether brick (used in Nether fortresses and bridges)
* Nether fence (used in Nether fortresses and bridges)
Upon scrawling a bit more through the Nether I noticed Ghasts don't use the regular snowball sprite anymore - it now uses a special fireball sprite.Going further, found many lava pools as usually, found more pigmen, and then I found a nether Fortress. It looked rather good, it had a balcony on one side. I entered it, and it turns out these fortresses are connected with Nether bridges. Sometimes they seem to be "sunk" and look pretty cool. Travelled with the bridge further and then I found 2 new mobs!
Mobs
* Fire elemental (or Blaze) - They drop blaze rods. They look something like flaming man, just without legs and the body, and have 4 rectangles circling around them. They are rather strong if you are not careful - they shoot bursts of flaming projectiles that set things on fire, but don't explode. Once they have shot the burst, they are gonna "flee" and when a bit further, they are gonna charge the attack (indicated as they get caught on flames) and not move in this period.
* Magma slimes - They are pretty much the same slime you would see in the regular world. They look like cobblestone with something like lava flowing through it and have a different jumping animation. When killed, they split into smaller magma slimes just like regulars do.
Ran farther, found a Fire Elemental spawner in a room :O Destroyed it, found out there are no chests there -_- It seems like 1.9 update is going to be a very good monster ovrhaul.
(Damn character limit)
It doesn't matter, checked and it says the author is banned.
1.9 isn't any 'Nether Update'. If you would have followed the news when 1.8 wasn't released you would notice Notch stated they will divide the Adventure update in two pieces - 1.8 update and 1.9 update.
Is that a Nether fortress or something?
Well, as far as the engine change was needed or is more preferable, than I have nothing to 'nag about'. Good luck with your game, my interest won't be lost even if you changed the engines.
So... how is it coming along?
WHAT HAS THE SCIENCE DONE?!?
See my comment about 3 or 4 pages ago.
I can pretty much guess it's the biomes:
There are total of 8 biomes.
Each biome has it's 'space'.
It's just the start of the day, don't lose faith my friend.
We've all been playing 1.8 pre-release for a time now here. Check about 2 or 3 pages ago, Kizzy posted a download link too.
I hope you shove that computer up your ***.
Meh, that ain't as cool :P
How to get water in The Nether.
1st. Go creative mode.
2nd. Make a Nether portal.
3rd. Enter the portal.
4th. Place some ice blocks.
5th. Wait for a ghast to shoot the ice block.
6th. Water in the Nether :O
The game runs out of memory extremely fast, lately with the pre-release 1.8. The game might need some changes in the engine or something.
