My name is Harald. I come from Latvia, a small country near Lithuania and Estonia. I like art and science, a bit of history too. Lately I have found out I can make some simple 3D models, so I gave it a shot and started modelling. My first project for which I started modelling was FOnline:2238 which is a MMORPG based on Fallout 2.
Yup, lately I haven't done anything else, than messing up friend pictures using GIMP, or doin' other stuff with GIMP. Pretty neat program. 3D modeling has stopped for now. If anything needs to be recolored or something like that, feel free to message me, I will see what can I do. That's quite it for now.
While playing FOnline and Quake games, I have quite much stopped modeling for now. If anyone will show me how to animate, I will probably start making some critters and animate them, but doesn't matter. For now trying to mod a bit Quake 3 and a free project called Tremulous (nifty stuff, check it out). Still searching for a way to successfully add texture to the game. Here is a little picture where you can see my problem.

Rad scorpion is about to be final, will just need a texture and it's ready to be animated. Right now helping all kind of people with stuff here and there, then make some models, well, in other words - just slowly moving forth. Yeah... sorry about that guys, but I think I will have to remake the chasis/frame whatever it's called. While that is post-poned... I made someone to poison FOnline: 2238 newbies! Oh hai again. That minigun annoyed me extremely much - I managed to crash Wings3D again, and no, I'm not proud of that. As you probably noticed, I have started to post news about some much more simple stuff - Police baton, dynamite stick and maybe other stuff. It's all just to relax from the minigun. That's right, I will continue work on it later, when I will feel comfortable to do it. That's it for now, see ya later.
I'm still having problems with the minigun texture, I found a way to have the mainframe texture and the barrel texture on the same file, the UV map is all messy, but I guess nobody needs to edit it, so whatever - I can maneuver pretty freely in it. After I will finish the minigun, I'm thinking about making some other models which aren't completed. If you guys got some questions or tips, feel free to leave a comment! But now, I have to continue my work on the minigun.
I'm... still having problems. It's pretty ridiculous. Wings3D just crashed due to my UV map complexity. I'm trying to find a way how to not crash Wings3D but still have my UV map. I have separated the model in 2 parts - the barrel and the frame. Making a UV map for the Barrel is easy, but the frame just doesn't seem to have any logic UV map possibility. If the model is separated I can achieve barrel spinning and also I can make one texture file for the barrel and another one for the frame. This allows me to have 2 UV maps instead of one, however, I'm not sure if it can work correctly in the game.
