Currently working on Traction Wars. A World War II Free For Play game using CRYENGINE. Visit happyfolio.nl for my complete portfolio.
In the video you see very shortly Maniche waving a T shaped wooded stick. That stick is used to calibrate the system and is 3000 euros :S...
I must agree with you though sadly both teams have very different goals. One of them is that Traction Wars is going to be free and the other payed.
But maybe having a bit of competition is good (:
Going strong mate! Keep it up
Yup. We found one who does a lovely job on designing levels :)
Its first person only and all 3rd Person views you can find are there for testing and will be removed :)
Haha xD woeps...
Thanks for your suggestions. Some are very interesting but I can't comment on them right now. The question I can answer is that kills will not be displayed during the battle to encourage players to win as an team instead of induviduals.
Steam is something we're looking in to.
On a side note, Taction Wars will be totally free :)
The latest Cryengine update no longer supports DirectX 9. We do support DX10 and DX11 :)
Maybe in a future dev blog :)
Tanks are ingame, but they're not in any way finalized on how they'll be controlled. Once we get to alpha testing we'll be more able to show how tanks will be operated ingame. :)
Looking good! Keep it up
Aren't we going to use balloons?
We're aiming for the game where you value your life :)
Piats were platoon level, issued out to squads. Thus, not part of squad classes. But you will find them in Traction Wars eventually:)
Cryengine 3 handles its reverbs dynamically. So the sounds are as dull as possible. As for our firing range, we haven't setup the reverbs. But we are working on it :)
Thanks for the notice. We'll look in to it :)
look sexy is!
Because its free :)
its raining but there are no clouds? or not very visible :P But still looking good. Keep it up
Very sexy <3. Keep up the great work!
Interesting. Looking foreard to check it out
"think about other peoples financial situation."
And what about the developers? They put hours, hours and hours in to this game. They earn nothing on the game till its released. Why do you think game publishers want there games out has soon as possible? To make money! It's a huge investement and not without risks. What if the game doesn't sell?
I love free games. But i don't mind to pay for something good. Keep it up guys. Can't wait.
Very nice work :) Looking forward!
Great modelling guys :D
Very nice :) I notice an improvement on the HUD? Nice :)
We want to get to the high numbers yes :)
