Its pretty dissapointing to hear what is happening with Interplay and Bethesda
It could go on for a while!
That means there is probably going to be a delay with Fallout:New Vegas (Obsidian) and other planned fallout games.
I feel for Interplay, but i hope Besthesda wins.
But don't fret Fallout 1&2 fans, because Obsidian is made up of quite a few of the originals who worked on Fallout 1&2, I reckon Obsidian will do an awesome job on New Vegas.

Well, They said already that gameplay will be much like Fallout 3. Huge put off for me.
And even though there are some of original FO devs in Obsidian, right now FO3 is far more popular than FO1&2. This means that possibly those devs wont even feel the -need- to push it into the direction of FO1&2.
Even interplay's project v13 concept art resmbles FO3 right now. If you wanna sell something fallout, you gotta make it with the Beth fans on mind and not fans of originals.
And even if obsidian wants to make this game closer to FO, we don't know if Beth would let them do it.
I'm not cheering for anyone in this court case. Whoever wins, fallout fans are fu(ked. You got Herve on one side, and Bethesda on the other.
Is Fallout: New Veags a FPS like Fallout 3 ?
Or is it an isometric viewpoint like NeverWinterNights 2?
I thought it would be isometric.
Isometric would be great. but as far as I know it won't happen.
Iso would mean a completely different gameplay, a point-and-click game with active pause. So when they said that gameplay won't stray much from FO3, i'm pretty shure it means it will stay a fps game.
I f*#king hope not.
For starters, I reckon the dialouge in New Vegas will be so much better than the childs dialogue that is fallout 3's.
The only things bethesda got right were.
The made an awesome wasteland...
And the music and theme are spot on....

agreed with the music ^^ i just love to turn on Galaxy news Radio in the middle of the wasteland, to hear "I dont want to set the world on fire" while blasting super mutants XD it brings tears to my eyes =D
Unfortunately, i never got far in fallout. it was on the border of my PC's capabilities -.-
that about the childish dialogues is correct, especially on hand of Moira Brown...
so I'm just gonna sit tight and wait to see what they bring out in the end.
I have played Fo3 only for a little bit, but what i really missed was the DESERT. A real desert with a burning sun, and not some cloudy foggy mountains.
Fortunately, Vegas is in the middle of a desert so i guess it will automatically feel more like Fo1&2. They have no choice but make some desert there.
Lets Hope their storyline rocks!!
