Providing the sound track, as well as brand new, from-scratch, texture sounds for the player's footsteps for the Half-Life 2: Episode 2 Mod titled, "Verloren - De Ontwakening". I and my Heath Music associates have been hard at work to bring a fitting soundtrack that really plays on the atmosphere of this Horror-themed modification that is slated for release in Q4 2014. You can find the game here:

I suggest you look into Composition Directing. It's a technical side of comp{ing} that I think might suit you well.

****, it's been me job for bloody ages, and I still enjoy it.

To clarify, I am not suggesting you contact a director for say lessons, but rather, acquire a composer and get the most out of them through direction.

Hmmm...So you mean, I actually don't compose anything myself? Just tell others what to do?

Well, directing comps is just as much time in the booth that it is just... well... being in da' booth.

My work is to write explanatory documents about the cognition of how a piece is to be made and how to sound. I personally supply DR notes of MASSIVE direction to my employees and then take part-in on the design myself.

It's all about what you can handle.

Ah! I see! Well, in essence, it is a bit similar to what I do/we do now. For the interim, however, I will endeavor to be better at what I do and continue improving. I haven't seen many openings for a director of composition unfortunately.

Naa, it's a bit isolated.

Keep up the hustle work!
