Was it really necessary to pack WHOLE valve folder from older WON version of the game, including your custom gamebanana skins into this download? What's even the point of all this? You don't need ANY of those folders : I.imgur.com

Don't worry everyone, it's still going, just the progress I'm making is more on a technical side, that visual. Year ago I've said that I've encountered "limits" of what game can actually handle in terms of size and amount of content, it would either crash or would just unload assets from the game itself, like GUI and sounds, at one point ModBuilder would just crash constantly because of size of mod and amount of assets there is. In the most recent builds I've eliminated this issue more or less, by re-coding the entire thing while removing and re-managing all the assets I currently have, It's a very long and tedious process, but it had to be done.
As for visuals - Right now I am working on ( finally ) porting buildings with animations to the game, right after that Sgor00 will start making new maps. I am scared to say this, but expect a video showcasing building animations in a week or so.
At this point saying that I have a busy life is like a cruel joke to everyone, but it really is that busy, and stuff that continues to happen irl is beyond my control unfortunately, and it takes a lot of time to fix it too. However, I simply cannot exist without this project being released, so you don't have to worry about me abandoning it.
This is fantastic, all those small details, from human impact lightnings to a slight emitting light glow around projectile, keep up the good work <3
I'm really excited about this project and I am very glad to see that this is not just skill.cfg changes, you've also added few neat little lore friendly touches which really fit to the game. Restoring Alien Slave heal mechanics, beta monsters, new skins, hopping headrcabs, those are all fantastic little things we're truly appreciate. The only issue I've seen so far is that human grunts seem a little bit bulletspongey, unless I'm missing something, do you have headshots? If yes, are they lethal for both parties? Keep up the good work! c:

I am sorry, but this is just a mess. Not only you're uploading a full standalone game, rather than a mod itself, which includes FULLY PLAYABLE Half-Life campaign maps ( for no reason, they're no different from original half-life maps mostly ), most of which are copies of maps from different sources, and a few multiplayer maps, but also it's just a bunch of great mods and gamebanana/moddb skins glued together into a fine mess lacking any personality or self-distinct features. But I don't really care about this, I've seen worse, what i care about is that is basically fully playable standalone half-life game mascaraed as a mod.
I just downloaded it out of curiosity to see that readme file lacks any proper credits nor links to ModDB page where at least those people can be found, there's also no mention anywhere what exactly those people ( possibly unwillingly ) "contributed" to this mod. You also haven't mentioned that you're using Xash anywhere as engine alternative.
When i launched it first time, it was just a small 800x600 window with very small screen space inside window and ALL keybinding/controls reset to nothing, even sound settings were set to 0, which leads me to believe you didn't give enough **** to at least test your mod before releasing it.
I don't think the download files from page you provided ( Moddb.com ) are official in any shape or form, the guy that uploaded them is known ( judging from comment history ) for uploading pirated versions of the game before. When sven coop was released as a mod, it had .bat auto installer, which copied maps from half-life into sven coop directory, so this guy just shared his sven coop mod folder. Sven coop NEVER included half-life maps, it always used maps from pre-existing end-user half-life installation.
While you still have a very minuscule amount of your own work here, I don't think excuses like "everyone does reskins, why can't I do it", "everyone is a hypocrite if they say otherwise" work here, you're uploading FULL STANDALONE HALF-LIFE GAME, with just visual and audio changes, plastering a lot mods on top of it. That's basically on a level of pirated AMXMODX CS 1.6 game "bundles" you can find on torrents and what not.
I advice you to give a **** and re-package and re-release ( or don't ) it PROPERLY as a MOD, without any binaries and trash files, as it supposed to be, and PROPERLY credit everyone who was "involved" in this. Be a wise lad and at least do this.
