Had a great time playing this mod. Even though it's not the prettiest one, but you can notice how much love and thought process went into it. How few levels got a lot of play testing and went through several revisions, it's all very noticeable. It's a mix of older Half-Life 1 mods and good early Half-Life 2 mods. Thank you for making this mod. Makes me wanna rewatch latest Judge Dredd movie.
Few story points kinda confused me, like the part where you fight Ravens Mansion owner, my favorite level, it was cool, but why "Him", isn't he our friend in hl2? Another part where you can harm and fight against citizens, nothing against that, but why? It haven't been explained. Ending for me went kinda abrupt, I destroyed second generator, exited generator room, killed 1 hunter and everything exploded and then ended, is it what supposed to happen? What about the rest of generators?

Hardware side is fine for the most part ( except this ******** i had recently I.imgur.com , still trying to pinpoint the problem ) , it's just toolset, there's no realtime tools, any change you do to the code/script/anything you need to compile whole mod. And it takes a lot of time. For example new minigun muzzleflash took me entire day to make, just to align and perfect everything properly, mostly because of that compile process, if i had realtime tools i'd be able to do that in a an hour tops.
That's exactly what makes your mod so unique, and a lot of scripted sequences combined with great mapping skills. Love it :D
While graphically it might be, the main factor that scares people from RA3 modding is the lack of features C&C Generals had, like Dozer system, or old school Promotions, GLA salvage system. Even the complexity of building your mod and XML stuff, it's all scary when you look at it first time.

No clue, really. I own Steam version of RA3 and it works fine, but i heard there's a launcher issue for C&C Ultimate Collection, you might be able to force to load the mod. Maybe someone who owns it can tell?
That'll happen, I'm switching days between my job and mod, I really miss C&C modding, just wish it had better tools.

Ohh, loved it too, but I have mixed feelings about some story bits and combat system, other than that it's great, especially music.
Top notch work, amazing atmosphere, ambience, attention to details and overall mapping. The only things i might nitpick are mix of low quality and high quality sounds, like explosion sounds and breathing sounds, keep it on one level, like you did with Black Mesa security guard lines, they actually do sound alike to Barney from Half-Life after you compressed them. The other one is bright jelly blood, try to make it a lot less bright and smaller ( for blood impact ), as for decals, just make them less bright.
I don't think I'll be able to do that in the future, RA3 lacks a lot of essential C&C Generals things ZH modders use + I don't have permission to use someone's else assets, so I'll need to do a lot of work for almost nothing, I'll just pass on that, but I plan to support GenEvo after it's release, that's for sure.
Oh man, you put a LOT of thought and effort into this, much more than I ever did with it, fantastic work! I secretly loved an idea of crawlers in cnc4, wish they didn't replace whole base building system though.
It's a particle, i'm sure this can be simulated via model, but not as pretty, since i use texture randomization.
