Hey y'all :D I'm glad this game isn't dead... Unfortunately, I can't get it to work on Windows 8 (including AllGrey's CFWF) so would I have to buy it on Good old games? And I do want to play CFW-Forever, is there any way to get any of it to work on windows 8? I'm the same person as Cruising Lancer (Cruiser) btw xD damn, I miss it...

That's awesome, loving it :) I love how the entire mod's going too, but there is one thing that does concern me. Also, is it possible to increase the XP earned through building? Maybe make it 50 per minute of building, or so, if possible.

It seems like the unit and T4/5 (experimental) balance is doing pretty great, but is the ACU outmatched? My computer broke and I haven't had the chance to get a new one (to test the revamp and all) but the ACU shouldn't be too weak in comparison.

Like, an ACU should always win in a 1v3 against T3 units. Any more, and you should hunker. My playing style is to build my home base, then send the ACU and a support army off somewhere to build additional bases, with engineers maintaining the home base. What I'm saying is, if I run into trouble (which happens) I should be able to Hunker to survive for 45-60 seconds where I immediately send an army to neutralize the threat. I have a friend who plays somewhat similarly to me, and in hunker, his ACU was destroyed within 15 seconds by 10 or so T3 Gunships.

I'm thinking that's working as intended, or hunker could be buffed slightly. It's just that I don't want to send my ACU with a moderate defense/attack force, and still lose it. Lastly, will AI be too strong? AI already uses lots of resources to wreck, and now that they have infinite, depending on the difficulty, nukes may fly within fifteen minutes.

If we're talking strategic values, what absolutely needs to happen is the Aeon stop getting so screwed every time. It's as if they're the useless "oh, we plan on removing them anyway" faction. I miss Black Sun days where Aeon controlled 98% of the Galaxy and firing (or capturing) Black Sun was Cybran and UEF last resort.

Also, land and air units shouldn't be so weak. If you have an ACU and you use overcharge, you should be able to remove a good amount of units but not an entire fleet. And don't nerf overcharge, then it becomes useless and an ACU will never gain the first level (building only gives 1XP point per structure). What I'm saying is, make it so that your units are worth something. It should be possible to be overrun with land units which can kill the ACU. Maybe increase the damage they do. Also, why do Auroras only have 200hp?

If there's something you don't know how you should go about changing, look to SC:FA. Great game, they worked the hell out of it. A T3 tank may be much less powerful than it is in SC:FA, but 10-15 of them should be able to handle an unprotected (unupgraded) ACU. But we don't need a weak, cowardly commander either. Basically, 10 T1 = 1 T2, 10 T2 = 1 T3, 15 T3 = 1 T4, 3 T4 = 1 T5. If you deviate too much, you finish with overpowered experimentals and crappy regular units.

Do forgive me if you've already fixed some of this, I broke my computer February of last year and hadn't played since (with what computer?) so I'm just saying what I remember.

If you played this mod (if compatible, I hadn't gotten the chance to try it) with tvg and blackops ACUs, you'd have an epic ACU experimental battle... xD

I do understand... I'm sorry for over-reacting. Was just thinking as this is an extremely complex mod, that's taken months and months, and with the amount that's left could maybe to retire. But never mind me, if you're close, keep working at it. I personally don't mind when it comes out, as long as it does.

Ah, I see what this is. You're mostly all apparantly just a bunch of judgemental jackasses. I do understand, I've made mods for different games, but tend to have their own editor and I've never used direct C++.

It may or may not have been 2 weeks... but instead of making us wait extremely long and yourselves from massing too much work, maybe just release the current 1.15 instead of 45% more models (1.81818 times more work) and 40% research tree (1.667x more work) and 18% more LUA modding (or 1.2195122x more work left.)

Unless you really are willing to put in the work. I say give up lol. Why not 1.15

Tried it again recently, but dang I suck at it lol. That's great though, looking forward to this wall in-game :D

Mainly because we couldn't really use walls that would block enemy fire in other revamp/SC2

Well I know, but you use your ACU how you want to and I use mine. Level 50 is hard to achieve, so aim lower. In FA and SC1 (and TA), I liked the idea of having a primary commanding unit, but I hated how it was so damn fragile. So if there is the opportunity to Have an ACU that is worth a damn and you can Make him able to defeat experimentals, you can believe I am gonna do that.

I guess I'm saying, I don't really care how they intended with the game. But whatever anyways, maybe some people have fun hiding the ACU in the base. Horrible game intentions. But I have FA and original, and I do understand what you mean. Why not change it up a bit? SC2 with revamp mod, I prefer than FA. How about you all?

Well dang, this is no longer a standard SC2 mod... More like a separate DLC type expansion. You should be hired if they would make a Supreme Commander 3. This is awesome, can't wait!

And I could picture getting that UEF or Cybran ACU to extremely high level. Like 30, that would be a supreme Commander. (though nearly unacheivable) An ACU at that level and power would even knock out experimentals. Hopefully the major kind =D

Nice reward for those of us who don't build a base and shelter him inside of it. Offensive behavior! Violence maybe is the answer... XD

Ah, nice... They made some new versions, and they have blackops 5.1 in GPGnet, if it can help. But yeah, Is it possible for the ACU to make that tactical nuke? I loved the UEF ACU nukes, and if it were like the Strategic Submarine nuke, not so powerful but useful that would be awesome. But most of the units were modeled based on SC2, so yeah...

And also I have a friend (he is ok at this game) who ONLY plays Aeon, idk why. So that guy always is crying and complaining that the Illluminates are too weaker than the other 2 factions. Is the Soopriser gunship supposed to be that expensive and not so powerful? And he says The Aeon should get an AntiNavy and Land defense. That sort of stuff awaiting us in revamp 1.2? Excellent job on mods

Yes, I have balance... But it was for non-DLC... just got the DLC pack too =D

But yeah, now I saw that in the DLC, everything in base is all big and scaled up again... >.< except the ACU. Is this supposed to be normal sized unmodded SC2 base?

Oh, hmm... I found a little problem. Cybran Experimental Air seems overpowered for it's cheapness... The darkenoid is good (15000m, 50000e) but Soul Ripper I (60K hp) cost 3000 mass, 12000 energy or so and The soul Ripper II is 125K hp or so with cost 1200m and 5625e. Is it supposed to be like this? For the Record, the Ripper1, Ripper2, and transport take around 3 minutes to build.

For record, m=mass, e=energy, and K=1,000. Also the cheap Soul Ripper II, no wonder AI builds so many :P Will you fix it for next update?

Nice, thanks for quick reply. And yes Aeon do have satellite in Blackops. It's pretty awesome. And good thing the Satellites aren't overpowered then. Laser Beam that detonates huge explosion. Quite costly though, oh yes. You should check it out. Excellent mod, and maybe you get some unit ideas from it. [Cybran Basilisk]
