What's the difference? Could I just copy over the client folder to be used by the server? I'm not on a very fast connection and can't be bothered to download another 1.25 gigs :(

****, it needs RoE and my installation is broken (copied directly off my old PC). Figures. Ignore all of the above post, errors were due to missing files from RoE installation.

Maybe you could add something easier to access. It was a pain to get stuff out of my bag in MS:C. (Left portion to view equipped items, the right area being your bag(s) etc. etc. Like those you can see in most RPG games.)

This mod apparently allows you to give your characters special facial features such as pimples, scars, moles and more. (not too sure about in depth information though.)

Badass, though it'd be really nice to have animations for lighting up and tossing the flares, as well as new sound effects (the old default one just doesn't make it for me :[ )
Anyone else have trouble with broken smoke (from bullet holes) particles? They come up as gray squares for me :(. Crowbar-attack marks on the walls appear as white boxes at times on the other hand. Oh, and where have all the pistols and pistol ammo gone D:. That's not all, some rooms have walls that appear a pitch dark black, but appear normally when shone at with the flashlight. Frustrating, but not stopping me from continuing the awesome experience this mod offers, good luck with V3!

Well, personally I'd very much like to see a Sven Kewp in Source. The other co-op mods just don't cut it. Sure it won't feel the same as it did in the HL1 edition; But hey, developing a mod for source will probably not affect the old Sven in any way. I don't really see what you're being so paranoid about, it won't affect how Sven GoldSRC plays or feels. (Why would it?)

Ok, so I'm at the sky train. On my first attempt, there was a bunch of furniture scattered in the train, and a key was behind as desk that was stuck. I noclipped to avoid the frustration of slowly attempting to move the test by walking into it several hundred times. After leaving, I've no clue what to do next. I've checked everywhere and even noclipped even more hoping to somehow get a hint, no luck. Somebody help me out?
Whereas Episode 2 & 3 (probably the others as well) return the game to the main menu with an error in console that reads "ERROR: Joint 'shoulders' not found on 'head_joint' on 'player1' "

Map doesn't run for me :(. Does it require RoE or something? Running the first level returns me to the title screen with a "Ai_talks" error of some sort in console.

Oh you think so? I tried this both on my old Vista system and my current Windows 7 system. Worked. Both times. Come on, the good man even included pictures. This game ONLY WORKS with the steam version of Half-Life. It's 5 bucks for Christ's sakes, get it already if you haven't and stop pirating this fantastic blessing of a game.
Is it really that hard to:
1. Go to your half-life folder, this is by default C:\Steam\Steamapps\<your username>\*half-life. (You should run Half-Life at least once to ensure the files are in their right places.)
2. There, find hl.exe. Right click it > Properties. [See http://img510.imageshack.us/i/vistafix1ke6.jpg/ ]
3. Inside the properties window, you should see a Compatibility tab if your OS isn't high on e-crack or if you aren't brain dead. [See http://img510.imageshack.us/i/vistafix2ty0.jpg/ ]
4. Check the box to run in compatibility mode and select 'Windows 98/ME frm the drop-down box.
5. Apply and OK to close.
6. Run the game, you should notice the resolution change if you have previously ran the game in a higher resolution not supported by a W98 app. If this is not the case, just give it up and go play MW2, Halo or whatever it is you kids do these days.

Oh, and the leaning when strafing is a litttttttleeeee too much, eh?
Certain parts of the story are a tad.... "funny" too. (Instead of dealing with all those zombies from the entrance you came, we COULD just BREAK the glass door down)
A pretty fantastic mod thus far (into the game), I like how it offers a unique "feel" from Half-Life. Features like ironsights, "PC legs", and those little bits of tweaking for realism are a big plus. However, the inventory was a big pain the *** for me. Switching weapons with only "2" by default is troublesome, as I prefer pressing a specific numeric key to get straight to my weapon instead of scrolling though (with or without the wheel). With the "default inventory", it's still far from perfect as weapons in 2 3 and 4 can sometimes be confusing and players (myself) are prone to make mistakes when switching weapons. Also, I find the crowbar quite difficult to use. I wasn't quite used to the range and delay when swinging the crowbar, it was much easier to use the melee key to hit with it instead.
P.S. Out of curiosity, who was it that voiced the reporter chick you see in the first chapter (on TV)? I notice the voice to be distinctively South East Asian sounding (where I hail).
...because this is a game, anything is possible.
