I believe that trainers in skirmish games - that is, you against bots, with no other Humans in the game - are allowed.
However, I may be wrong here, so you may wish to pose this inquiry in a location where individuals may be more knowledgeable about trainers, such as in RelicNews.

I do not wish to be perceived as one peering into the matters of others, but, what is wrong with playing offline?

Hello, 3dku. You have some fantastic models and I'm sure Lord_Wiffleby would be thrilled to have an another modeller, especially one skilled in constructing new vehicle models. Please consult with Lord_Wiffleby, your talent would be a major boost to us.

The weapon you are alluding to is meant to be the Schrotbüchse 48, which has absolutely no connection to the PPSH. It's a fictional weapon, yes, but there were few German shotguns that we otherwise could have implemented. If you had taken the time to read the update, you would have known.

1949 was chosen due to it allowing quite some time for both the Allies and Axis to finish development and start manufacturing the Superheavy tanks, along with Operation Sea Lion to commence, although I'm not entirely sure on this aspect and Lord_Wiffleby may provide some more insight.

I believe there's much more realism to be had with alternative history than with actual history, for example, there was no "Able Company" in World War II. Thus, their entire history and actions are ahistorical. There were only a dozen or so Sherman "Crocodiles" constructed, most of them serving in the Pacific so if you build more than 12 you'd already be breaking history. But with an alternative history mod, there are no limits. Build a 100 Sherman Crocodiles and it will still be keeping in line with canon.

Thank you for the videos, JesusOfCalgary, I will view them. I did see a few tutorials on the COH worldbuilder, and have put in a hefty amount of time in Dawn of War's Mission Editor, so it should not be completely alien to me.
For 3DS Max, Sketchup Pro can instantly convert Sketchup files to 3DS Max, so another method with a third party program should not be entirely impossible. If not, perhaps I could get my hands on a 3DS Max copy somewhere. My only experience with that, however, was with a friend's version 9.0.

Fortunately, I have been able to scrape together some free time to start developing the map today.

Excellent! Tragically, my Sunday is about to end (UK timezone) and the next five days are of school. After that, I have a week of holiday and I can get to work on mapping and buildings. (As Britain has quite a different architectural style than France) I do remember there were ways of converting Sketchup files into 3DS Max through a 3rd party program, which I tried some time ago but gave up. This time, I'll fight with renewed vigor!

Ah, sorry for the double post, but Moddb has had the fantastic idea of only allowing me to edit my comments within five minutes of posting them, I am interested in learning the COH worldbuilder and sharpening my now rusty skills in Sketchup (after months of disuse) to model weapons and buildings for the mod. Hopefully, I can find some spare time from my GCSE studies and school work, so if I can attain that precious few hours of free time, would you welcome me on board, Lord Wiffleby?

Even in 1940 and 1941 when Germany had great fortune in World War II, Franco refrained from joining the war apart from if Germany met some ridiculous demands such as supporting the dilapidated Spanish economy with oil and wheat, along with military assistance and the transfer of Morocco to Spain. The largest, however, was the initiation of Operation Sea Lion before Spain would join the war.
Furthermore, Spain had dealings with the Allies and sheltered Jews later in the war. (And possibly earlier?)

In fact, Hitler planned to occupy Spain (or Portugal) if the Allies attempted to secure a passage through, and if the war dragged on and Operation Overlord failed then I wouldn't see why the Allies wouldn't attempt such an endeavour.
Finally, Spain had quite antiquated reserves (by the standards of the world of 1949) of military vehicles, with few indigenous tanks.

Yes, it would be more interesting (and plausible, considering the US has most likely lost countless men in the war yet still can field large units with a major section of their population rising against them? Confederates would better function as a bonus/reward unit for an Axis faction, potentially Japan?) to see Spain in the game than the Confederacy, at least in my opinion, but another country such as Italy (had more native weapons and tanks) or even a separate Ostheer or Afrika Korps faction (Ostheer to represent the massive army of Germany in the east, along with their many allies such as Finland, Hungary, Romania, et all and the Afrika Korps for an African theater, maybe along with the Italians?) would be more suitable.

Perhaps Spain -- and Portugal -- would have been split up by the "Italian Empire" in search of lost Roman lands and Germany, with volunteers from the region (and Confederates?) represented by a random foreign volunteer unit (akin to Eastern Front's idea) or a reward unit?

I'm sorry to hear that you're closing the mod down. Could you possibly release your fantastic character models to the community so that it does not go to waste? I would be grateful if you did.

Incredible! Although, perhaps you could add a large energy tank to the back of the tank to fuel the turret? It would also serve as a counterbalance to the weight.

A truly immaculate mod! I can already envision the Maus firing a shell into a squad of 20-30 Russian conscripts and the shower of limbs flying! Just a small inquiry, what factions are you planning for when the mod is completed fully and which will be in the initial release?

The "skin" colour of the alien should be the truly surreal greenish-blue-black of the Crysis 1 aliens. Crysis 2's Ceph are just typical, unoriginal "sci-fi" extraterrestrials.

There is a strange alien purple-esque firearm in Crysis 1 as a static object. Perhaps C-TEK could get it working as a true weapon?

Agreed there. You're doing a fantastic job and an inspiration for anyone who does not like CE3. Crytek has pretty much abandoned us but try to equivocate that they have not. CE3 is a downgrade for consoles, textures, bumping, etc all are worse than CE2. Only thing they did was make everything really, abnormally shiny and reflective for gimmicky trash. They probably closed your account because they couldn't handle someone surpassing them at modelling, texturing and so on.

Looks pretty good. As the other person said, it's a bit flat, and the trees in the background look strange... is it supposed to be simulating wind in this map? If not, try placing some other tree and bush variations around.

A truly exemplary mod! I have but one question, when survivor units are killed by zombies, will they turn into zombie units themselves?
Or could you construct some potential "infection" center like the Medic Station of the vanilla COH where wounded/dead survivors are brought to and turned into zombies?
