Having worked as a farmer and woodcutter for most of my life i became determined to do something that would leave my mark after i was gone. Since then i got back to studies, and i have now a master degree in Electrotecnical Engineering as well as a degree on Electromechanical Engineering. On my free time i like playing and so i became interested in creating my own games or, in the shorter term, modding games to get something closer to what i would like games to be.
Notice why it was suggested.
The board game is so much better, any of the three board games rule. :P
The first is the best of all due to the amount of content released for it. :)
The second was okay as there was a lot of mission released for it.
The third sort of sucked. :P Everything changed and models were different scales. :P Less content. :P
PC games never do it justice. :P
Something about beer and pretzels makes it so much more fun, and you dont have to play against AI. :P
It's a social event. :P
I think it could just be my perspective as a social gamer in RL. :P
Makes me sort of bias. :)
The digital version is a good way to learn the rule sets though as a rough guide. Also as a strategy development tool for real gaming.. :)
Did I mention beer and pretzels?
I just thought it was weird for steam to suggest something "just to see if you might be interested". That sentence suggests the game is not good enough for them to truly suggest it :P
It usually suggests things "because it is popular", "because it is a top seller", "because it is new" or things like that.
Maybe they are stalking you and finding out what you do?
They pretty much suggest warhammer related games because i have visited several warhammer related game pages in Steam and have soulstorm acquired through it. No surprise they know what i search while in steam, after all it is their way of earning money :D
It is the way they suggest this particular game that is strange. Apparently Valve still has some sense of humour even when suggesting dubious games :P
Bourbon and beef jerky?
