Just wait for the letters from people who have commited suicide to start rolling in, saying how offended they are.
No-one even asked for help though. People are going to see this spoiler whether they want to or not. I think you should delete it and I don't understand why you don't.
Why not delete his comment if it's a spoiler?
It's been a week since the devlog post that said keys would be with us "this week". So NOW is the time to complain. The game's been on steam 2 weeks and I don't have a key yet. I bought it from IGS on the promise of a steam key once greenlit.
In the end though it doesn't matter whether the developers of a game think the price is reasonable because they aren't the ones paying it. Or not paying it.
Come on this is a bit expensive isn't it?!
It's a major logic change to add a keypress that sends you to the same part of the code as the double clicking sends you?
In England it's $14.50!
It's because this game and Bioshock are both using the Art Deco aesthetic.
I based my review on the screenshots.
It's a text adventure. If the text has mistakes it's like having graphics that are really ugly.
It was me who deleted that Spectromancer thread. I'm sorry if it inconvenienced you.
It wouldn't surprise me if they had something in the game saying if you put a comment on the desura page you will win something in the game.
I hate that LL bought desura but it was obvious they were going to infect desura with their games once they had it.
The giants series of games are good. I love Industry Giant. The price here seems too much though considering there are never really sales on Desura.
I agree with you, but it's $19.99 not £19.99. It's £12.49.
I really don't know what you were thinking when you came up with this price. £12.49?
You would make more money by setting the price lower. At the moment the price is cutting off a large percentage of your audience.
Now that the game is in the groupees bundle you hardly need a demo.
I'm not a fan of double clicking in games. Would you consider adding an alternative way of doing this?
You know what would be awesome?
People not begging pathetically on desura.
Something of a phallic symbol over there on the right!
I agree. The price is very high for the market.
I made a suggestion, the dev seemed to welcome it and asked for a suggestion which I made. We didn't need you lot chipping in with your useless opinions.
Using "gorgeous" to describe your own game seems wrong. That's a word for a review, not a description. Just a minor thing.
Thank-you for adding the key define ability. I have changed my 1/10 review to a 7/10.
Could I have some context please? I have no idea what you are talking about.
Thanks for adding the numpad support- it makes the game a lot more comfortable to play. The numpad does fairly frequently stop responding though. Moving the mouse over the game area without pressing a mouse key causes it to start responding again. I hope that's an easy bug to fix.
Another small issue is that it seems you can't mouseover your headgear to see the tooltip, because of the helm display preference minibutton.
I realize that it must be frustrating spending all your time developing something and not to have much interest and not to reach your funding goals but this paragraph and other comments here make you seem very bitter, angry, entitled, jealous of other projects with funding and so on. It can't be creating the best impression in people who might otherwise have funded you. It's like boys who can't get a girlfriend because their desperation shows.
It's very sad, but not every project gets funded. I know the word is horrible and overused but you do seem to think you're entitled to funding. At the end of the day it's the public's money and they can do what they like with it.
It would still be limited to the squares, but not to the 8 directions, e.g. you get from you to the enemy by going 3 left then take a diagonal down left, then go three left. Bresenham and all that.
Anyway, I recognize that's probably not going to happen; I'm more concerned about the numeric keypad.
