If I saw one of those running at (or crawling), I'd definitely pull an about-face.
Are there going to be many of this guy? Or is he a special character?
He shouldn't get ahead of himself.
I am really looking forward to this mod, looking at screenshots and listening to the audio.
Curse my inability to travel to the moment of this mod's release!
The lighting in this is beautiful.
Brilliant audio, I can tell already that this will fit perfectly with the atmosphere and feel of the game.
Awesome, I can't wait to hear the secret behind the scar. Gives the character... well, character.
Very atmospheric, I think this mod will turn out great if other environments can meet the standard of this area.
I'd say that the computer generated voice kind of kills the mood. Is that permanent or will voice actors appear later on in development?
And I thought that the first game was something... This is absolutely stunning.
Or something like napalm. That'd put those goddamn Wraith bastards to rest.
I think that the primary gamemodes look very promising. I'll track it.
I'm less enthusiastic about the zombies gamemode, which, may I say, has become a generic addon to many video games being released, especially the 'survival setting' this mod is going for.
I know that this mod isn't based around the zombie gamemode, but I don't think it would be worth it if it severely affects development of the other gamemodes.
I seem to be encountering a problem whilst playing the game. Whenever I try to create or join a server, Steam claims that my account has been logged in elsewhere, and that I should log in again.
However, when I do so, the problem remains, and stops me from joining any servers or creating my own.
The level of detail put into this mod is astounding.
Very dark, but the music is creepy.
Nice. Maybe add a cool feature where Demons can electrify the water for a period of time?
Sounds very interesting, I'll track it, but I expect something good.
Slenderman's suit is a must. Without it, he just wouldn't be the same, he'd just be some sort of voracious 'fast-zombie'-like monster.
The Slenderman we want shouldn't just see you, dash towards you, claws blazing and tear you to shreds (that comes later), the game must have pacing, atmosphere. If this game is truly going to be scary, the maps have to show it, and the characters have to fit it.
Brilliant, really captures what I think the Mothman should look like. All that's missing now is a pair of large wings and a voracious appetite, though from the look of the Mothman, the latter won't be soon off...
Keep up the good work, chaps.
Brilliant idea, using actual areas for mapping. Will definitely make the whole premise a lot creepier.
I'm getting creeped out just thinking about this image.
By the way, what kind of environment will Anne Boleyn be used in? Because I haven't read any stories other than rumours that her ghost haunts a certain castle of some sort, so obviously I'm missing something here.
Well, it's looking good so far, however I would agree with everyone else here that his arms need to be a lot longer. Remember, your motivation should be swinging ropes or limp hoses.
Also, I don't think that he really needs the whole 'protruding-claws' kind of thing. He wasn't really built for Wolverine-like-combat, but more for complete fear, a towering figure that brings complete despair with its long, reaching tendrils.
The face is good, I'm definitely liking the skull approach you've taken and the body is very slim, which obviously, is very good. Just remember that you're going to need the suit too, it makes his image.
And while we're on the subject, is he going to be able to stalk around, Doc-Ock style on protruding tentacles from his back? Because that'd be both awesome and terrifying.
In the end, just keep doing what you're doing and I'm sure it will turn out well.
Does this work with 64-bit Windows 7?
EDIT: Oh wait, I think I've solved it. I'll know in a second.
Great looking mod, definitely one of the greatest I've seen. Just one question. Are you going to have slightly different types of zombies. I mean, don't get me wrong, I don't want and Smokers or Tanks or ****, nothing like that, I want to keep this as canon to the Romero as possible.
I'm talking about things like crawling zombies, those'd be a bitch in dark areas, 'specially cos you'd be pointed your gun and light upwards.
The crawler is one of the most mainstream obviously but maybe I could think of some others. Just zombies that somehow have a stronger position. And I hope people already heard me when I said I don't want any mutations.
Should put in some cool side story where the owner of this house totally went insane, and when his family turned to zombies, he killed whoever came to his door and used their bodies as zombie food.
Is there going to be or is there an animation for the zombies where they reach out at you over an object chest or waist high? It would be so awesome just to see them leaning over at you with gnashing teeth.
So it's proven! The McDonalds brought the zombies back to life! Everything makes sense now...
Brilliant. These zombies are actually going to be scary, unlike (in my opinion) the infected from L4D.
Ha, imagine if this was gameplay screenshots! Haha!
Wait a min- Oh dear Jesus..
... I can't wait for this to come out. This looks just as, if not more interesting than Left 4 Dead. I'll take shambling zombies over running infected any day.
Has to be brilliant, is what.
Brilliant. I can already feel chills rolling down my spine.
I can hear the alien voices tearing at the sanity of mind already! I can't wait to see what it'll be like ingame.
It feels almost blasphemous to say so, but your mapping is above even Valve themselves. These environments are simply breathtaking. I found myself pinching my arm throughout the whole video. Bravo, sir. Your skills rival that of the gods themselves.
That's brilliant! Keep up the great work guys! I eagerly await the anticipated release of the full mod.
Looks like an awesome Cthulhu game. I'll track.
What about a special gamemode where one human player is a traitor, sorta like the Antichrist. He must stay secret among his human 'friends', all the while helping the demons in some shape or form, whether it be killing others secretly (though that would be boring) or something else.
I had an idea that could help the demons/make the game fun. Maybe you could have some spaces in certain levels where demons can travel through walls. Not all, you understand, just special ones that only the demons can see.
You know that Wolfenstein game that came out recently (last year or so). Well , long story short, there are some walls you can walk through while using up energy. If you've played the game, you'll know what I mean.
I just think that it might be slightly unrealistic that allpowerful demons that can summon spiders and set objects alight on a whim still have to use doors.
Just a suggestion though.
