Description

Still getting the hang of Blender. Got modeling mostly covered, next is skinning/unwrapping.
Brushed up the main body, added detail to the engines and back. Also: guns.
------
In accordance to its role as a deep space exploration vessel, the Hageen is usually configured as a blend of a heavy scout and utility ship. The right wing houses an inbuilt sensor suite capable of tracking and identifying objects even in dense asteroid fields and partially penetrating nebulas; the left wing basically just covers twin missile launchers and their ammunition storage - while limited in ammunition, these are vital for leveling the playing field against heavy scavengers and raiders in a pinch.
The standard for the projectile weapon mount is the Hørschel-K Gatling Gun, providing ample firepower and coverage to get rid of small asteroids, mines, drones, missiles or even small fighter crafts. The beam mount is usually equipped with a GMY Medium Laser Projector, a precision tool that can, given enough time, neatly cut open wrecks, resource rich asteroids and heavy military grade armor - the lack of firepower is compensated by the infinitely recharging power supply.
Relying on the strong push of the engines to escape pursuers, the rear mounted shield generator sacrifices focus at the back to create a denser shield at the front of the vessel. The mounts on the sides of the Hageen's beak support ECM suites and drone control centers, though the high cost of these systems makes them a rare sight.
