I am still somewhat new to game development, but learning very fast. I know several programming languages and have a background in 2D and 3D art. I am currently learning UDK. I'm looking for a supportive community and maybe even some team members as I venture into making my first game.
This is the first static mesh I made in Blender and imported to UDK. As you can see the texture map is not there. The materials that give it texture in Blender can be seen in another picture here.
I could use any advise on how to fix this. Is there an easy way to make a texture map in Blender from the materials already assigned to it, without unwrapping it. Or a way to unwrap it that won't cause nightmares?
