Hmm... there are plenty of active servers running 0.6 already. It may be you.

Where can I find quarter one and two videos?
Yes, it is quite normal. The next version will improve FPS a lot. In the meantime you can try disabling model outlines in the graphic settings menu. That should help in the many player models situation.
Is this related in any way with CodeRed:Alien Arena?
It looks real great with the only exception of that bloom filter (or whatever it is bluring and overburning the light so much).
I find very dissapointing that the winner is an unreleased game. MOTY award is a big chance of promotion for these indie games, which they all desperately need, and it gets wasted when such game has not yet been released.
I did a very similar proccess to choose a scripting library for Warsow. Tried LUA, GameMonkey and AngelScript. The selected one was AngelScript, because of its simplicity to plug in into the C gamecode, its speed, and its similarity to C++ (easier to start coding straight ahead for most people). It's been a long while since we implemented it, and I'm very happy with the decission.
Do the player ranking and stats mean it has unique player ids now?
I miss the old website a lot, tbh. It used to be entertaining to visit the frontpage every day to see news and screenies. I don't do that anymore.
Well, they applied the indie tag to every free-standalone project when they changed the website. All of them were just standalone before. Now are listed as indie games.
Doesn't make much sense, tbh. Tremulous, Warsow, Nexuiz, Alien Arena, WoP... all of them are listed as indie games and Overdose clearly belongs to that list. Maybe the difference is that all of them have releases, and maybe what you should do is changing the profile when you do the first release.
I wouldn't call it a mod, tbh. They should change their profile to indie game.
Excellent work! I think the retard touch is intended, makes them more lovely. Not everything in this world is ubberrealism.
Looks like current-gen for me :) But nice work on the tute.
I use a photoshop 6.0 plugin called DCspecial.PatternEditDo (and undo) for this. It just switches the texture so you can edit it by hand. Been using it for a long time and found nothing better yet than doing them by hand, and this plugin makes the set up very quick.
I didn't read the tutorial yet, I hope I'm not repeating what it's in it. :)
