I'm Commander Shephard, and this is my favourite store on the Citadel.
When you try to run Entropy : Zero, do you have any issues?
It takes place after Gordon raids NP, but before the Citadel blows up and destroys C17. And this is a demo, so... Supposedly there will be more at some point ;)
I would argue that HL: Alyx has shown us that Overwatch Soldiers can have a personality beyond just being a monotone stoic professional all the time.
Damnit I forgot to sign in, yes that is me.

About the shotgun; if that's your weapon of choice, then that's fine :) Everyone is different and it depends on your playstyle and what you're comfortable with. Personally I tend to swap between the AR2 and the MP5k a lot without issues, and rarely use the shotgun unless it's for really tanky enemies!
The mod does not officially support, and was not tested on an OS other than Windows, so we cannot help I'm afraid.
Entropy : Zero 2 Demo is not showing up in my Steam library!
There are multiple possibilities why this could be the case, here are all the steps you can try:
1.) Search "Entropy" in your library, it may be that the mod is in the Hidden category.
2.) If you haven't restarted Steam after extracting the mod folder, do so.
3.) Make sure you're extracting the mod folder from the .7z file, not just placing the .7z file into SourceMods. You will need either 7zip (https://www.7-zip.org/download.html) or WinRAR (https://www.rarlab.com/download.htm) to do so. Both are free, though WinRAR will badger you to buy it. Make sure to extract the "EntropyZero2Demo" folder into SourceMods
4.) You may have had Steam installed elsewhere on your computer at some point, and you're putting the mod into the old SourceMods folder. Run Steam and right click on it in your task bar. Then right click on "Steam Client Bootstrapper" and click "Properties", it will show you the file path of the Steam you're running, so if it says "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe" you will want to find "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods" and extract the "EntropyZero2Demo" folder there.
Download 7zip 7-zip.org in order to extract the mod. You can then either right click on the file to extract, or double click it to open it and then click+drag the folder to the correct place (SourceMods)
If you are running another language version of Half-Life 2 then you need to set English subtitles manually. Use "cc_lang english" in the console.
Are you extracting the folder from the .7z file into your SourceMods folder, or are you just directly placing the .7z file into SourceMods?
Glad you found a solution. I was about to say that we do not have Russian subtitles.
Bruh, the answer is literally posted everywhere, in this thread, and in the file description itself.
Set your Source SDK Base 2013 SP to the "upcoming" beta in its properties.

Even better, here's a little video that shows how to install it. Youtu.be
Subtitles are already implemented, do you have them turned on in the settings?
The file path should be something like X:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods
And you're sure you're extracting the mod folder from the .7z file and not putting the .7z file in SourceMods?
Are you actually extracting the mod folder from the zip file, or are you just putting the .7z file in your sourcemods folder?
It's in the instructions.
Set your Source SDK Base 2013 SP to "upcoming" in the "BETAS" tab in its Properties.

Would really like to know the development story on this mod. Why is the ending so god awful and abrupt? Was there actually more planned?
Did not know that! I'm a pretty spastic quick-saver (mainly before entering a new area or after a long hike), so I imagine that was indeed the problem.
May give Complete another try and start over, only using ESC -> Save Game instead of slamming that F5.
What's up with the Kindergarten medic? Just so I keep it in mind.
Problem is I want to experience the game the way the devs kind of "intended" before playing through again with a mod like Misery. I have a high-end rig, and want to take advantage of it by kitting out STALKER with improvements that will make it look better, and play better.
I am unable to complete objectives. And by that I mean the game literally will not complete objectives even when I've met the requirements. Whether it be examining a crash site, checking out an evacuation zone, or ambushing some bandits, the objective doesn't complete on the mission log, and the waypoint on my map remains active.
I've also heard of some late-game bugs where you'll be unable to move between areas without crashing.
Does this mod have options to make it more of a "lite" version without all the extreme gameplay changes? I'm playing through CoP for the first time, and just want a reliable mod with graphical overhauls, fixes, improved A.I. etc. so that I can get an experience of the vanilla game, but enhanced.
I've tried Complete, but it pretty much broke my game being unable to complete objectives, and I'm hesitant to try other mods that are no longer updated and having to start my game all over again... again.
Last update April 2013? Ouch.
Friendly warning to those considering getting this mod. It is indeed very unpredictable. I am finding that objectives aren't completing for me any more, no matter what, therefore breaking the game.
I'm currently trying to find a mod that does something similar to Complete, i.e. complete graphical overhaul with fixes and improvements, without the game-breaking bugs.
Some suggestions for future releases:
1. Primary locations being more likely to "spawn" in front of the player depending on how long they've been playing.
2. Counting the number of enemy encounters and decreasing them if there has been a high frequency so that they're a bit more evenly placed out. (Vice versa if you've had too few.)
3. Change the enemy mechanics, perhaps add the ability to throw a stone to distract them, because they rely on sound.
4. Make the glowstick actually useful.
