Hi all, to answer a few of the questions asked,
Yes there are various types of pelican in the works other than just the normal dropship, of which I will go into another time,
Cloaking, unfortunately is a difficult situation as I would very much like one for use, not only on various prowler types ships, but also covenant stealth vessels too. But as I have looked into this before, and found that the x3 engine is quite limited in this sort of modding, not saying that its impossible, just difficult and not quite have the desired effect that would suit the halo universe. To my knowledge no such mod has been created that renders the ship invisible, or stealth to the radar (which I was once told was impossible).
This. You can change the cargo bay to your desired size. For the actual mod, there won't necessarily be any need for such a large cargo bay as it may not be needed unless its a tp/ts/tl class ship
Actually have got a role for it, so will get round to it at some point
for now you may have to cheat the covenant ships in and set them to an enemy race.

im aware of the cockpit problem, this has nothing to do with the cockpit mod, its a problem with the ship itself, which will be fixed at some point

I'll look into the texture problem, sounds like a simple wrong directory ,ie file in the wrong folder when plugin manager installs the ship, try using the xsp converter tool that comes with the plugin manager and save the ship for Albion prelude.
As for the ships changing I have no idea! I've never come across anything like that before, or even heard of anything like that happening. Does this happen in TC aswel or just AP?

Yes, but as bethmythica said, there is a slight movement of a few degrees, but that is just down to game mechanics.
Yes, for the unsc i currently have, mac cannon in varying power classes, archer missiles which fire enmass, AAA cannons for point defence, shiva nuclear missile and on newer ships i hope to implement the howler missiles for ship to ship combat that deal more damage than archers and fire less frequently
Just a quick update, and not a good one im affraid, we've come across a serious bug with alot of the ships which seems to seriously corrupt the x3 game directory, which crashes the game. struggling to find the cause atm, but it just means that if push comes to shove, release will just be the few ships that currently work fine, but i would much rather release all the ships that i have finished. just bear with me and ill get this rolled out as soon as i possibly can

The newer charons will have better shielding as the charons like this that undock from the infinity, have energy shielding like that of the infinity
This. Unfortunately there isn't any other way to do it atm, but when using the mod rather than just the xsp ships, the gates will be replaced with jump beacons so jump drives will play a pivotal role.
Atm the ships will need cheating in, but they should be available in shipyards at release

It was only for filming purposes, as I had pirates set to friendly so it didnt kill me before I started filming, and that I was sure that it would attack the frigates.

new model for this corvette coming as new pictures have come available of the actual stealth corvette, this model will still probably be used just under a new name

im sorry you feel this way, but, i can assure you that it is mearly coincidental that they resemble your turrets. i personly havnt seen a turret like that on your mod page and therefore cannot say weather it dose or does not resemble a turret you may have made at some point. the turret third from the end is based on the Phalanx CIWS, the second one is based on the M71 Anti-Aircraft Gun seen in halo reach on LNoS, and the far left is a combination of the two, with the base and radome of the phalanx based turret and the barrel assembly and ammo drum off the m71. the rest of the turrets are also based on both real life and halo turets. the missile turret is based on the halo reach missile pod ( Halopedian.com )crossed with the real life RIM-116, the next turret is based on Rheinmetall's new high powered laser and the final one is obviously the point defence turret from the savannah and POA in halo reach. once again im sorry you feel that way but i do not nor will i, set out to copy other peoples work, if i like an idea i'll use it, if i like someone elses idea, I WILL ask to use that idea and if they dont want me to then i am big enough to accept that im not allowed. But, as i have stated in the past, if the concept is canon and realistic and used in the halo series i will also use it as this mod WILL be as canon as i can make it.
theres alot of talk about how to make a decent stealth device in the x3 forums, that particular method has been mentioned, but, in the x3 engine wouldnt be very useful as the ship would still show up in the radar and would still have the box show up round it on the HUD. so theres got to be some way to get around the radar, which, im told, is hardcoded.
its based on the one in the comic, the fall of reach, the atlas i believe it was called. its a good shape for x3 as it would work quite well with the docking animations and scenes.
as described in the latest news, this chart will have to be altered as some ships are the incorrect size
i dont think ill be able to get it to work like that in x3, but if i can, then yes
i do like this design, its grown on me, it may well find its way into my mod when i get time to do it. not sure about the bottom one yet though, doesnt look as warship-like enough for me but we'll see. keep up the good work

read the description, clearly states that its based on iwantoneofthose's ship, if those guys at halo home front used that as well (which i doubt as they are very good modelers) than it shouldnt be a problem as anyone can download the base modelfor free any way
