Green Lantern's - Awesome group of aliens, men, etc.
Even planets... yes, you read right. PLANETS! Mogo is a Green Lantern and a living planet who's pretty badass.
Anyways, Green Lanterns. The original Seven (JL) were: Superman, Batman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Wonderwoman, and Aquaman. The weakest of the set was Aquaman, he's pretty much useless in my opinion. In fact, Aquaman isn't that useless. He has rough Atlantean skin and the multiplied strength of an average man. Anyways, Green Lantern is the third strongest of the group. That's right, Superman's fourth. FACT: The Flash is the strongest of the group, Martian Manhunter being the second. Why Flash? Because, speed / mass = Force. And he can move as fast as he want, which also makes him very light because he can go faster than light. He can punch Superman 1,000,000 times before he can process a thought. Flash can learn whatever he wants to in 5 seconds tops. When he goes "FTL" (faster than light) speed, he can punch Superman's head off into the sun. ANYWAYS, this is a Green Lantern discussion. I should stop nerding out about Flash.

Every one of them has been a member of either the JSA or the JLA. Funny thing is, a lot of them has had a good friendship with the Flash of their time. Three examples:

Kyle Rainer, Jon Stewart, and Hal Jordan + Wally West

The Green Lanterns' power come from the Ring. And the Ring chooses wisely. You need great will and imagination to be stronger. Hal Jordan was very high on both, and was very dedicated. That's why many consider him the best.
Jon Stewart was a soldier so he had a lot of willpower.
Kyle Rayner, my favorite, was an artist/painter. His imagination knows no limits. Whenever Hal f***** at something, he's right behind him cleaning up his mess. In other words, he's badass. There's no reason to not like the Green Lanterns.

Now to discuss the villains you mentioned.
Did you know Bane lived his last few years as a vegetable? He LITERALLY couldn't move. The only reason he was alive was his Venom. Remove it, and he dies. He may have been one of Batman's greatest villains, but he still was pretty stupid at times. He deserved a more honorable death in the movies in my opinion.
Ivy? She didn't work with Bane much.
I think she'd make a better pair with Harley. And they'd be fighting Bruce and Selena. Would be pretty cool indeed...
By the way, 3D, what do you think of the less-hotter Batman? I don't think Ben Affleck would do well to replace Christian Bale. Christian was hawt hawt hawt. And he also played a great role as Batman. Affleck... on the other hand, probably wouldn't. I mean, have you seen him as the Dare Devil? He ruined it.

I like green lantern, but the only thing that makes them cool are there rings.
I like them but I think people like Bane who don't have a super power are even better
