Experienced Rigger/animator. I'm currently the lone animator for Soul Saga.
If you're somehow here because of Half-Mind well sorry lol but I can't work on it as much as I wanted to, go check out Soul Saga instead you nerds it's an actual video game!
Great stuff, however, All of the hip firing animations for the weapons are rather fake, Some being excessively dramatic, It's no big deal really but I would suggest having them toned down a bit.
Not bad, I just have to say the reload/shell insert animation for the shotgun is a bit too exaggerated, maybe tone it down a bit if you know what I mean.
I'm just stating the obvious, Horrible models, horrible mockup aka story with grammar errors and etc.
I don't model, I just say it as I see it.
lmfao nice bad eyesight.
No offense but Half-Life 2 looks like Half-Life....wait...
I can still comfortably grip a rifle with my thumb like that :)
your are just jealous nerd
So what you're saying is, You don't want games to have this scenario as a simulation, You want people to do it in real life?
Good call chuck.
um xcuse me sir? ur ******* dumb?? stfu and gtfo plz
You'd have to be extremely stupid like the rest of this site to think this mod is some sort of 'troll'
It's a god damn Triple A mod and I hope some company picks this up as a retail game.
NO GUYS I CAN REALLY BEND MY THUMB LIKE THAT
If you're an animator it's easy peasy. People just make excuses to not do work.
Too unlifelike and stiff.
Maybe I animate weapons, characters and zombies for NMRiH and own several firearms/know what I'm talking about?
Look I can do this all day, The thumb is ****** up, That's not how I would hold a rifle.
Attack of the Walking Prolapsing Rectums.
I am a little disappointed with the trailer *Hopefully it didn't take 1 year to make that?* but I hope to see something better soon.
It just looks like something that I can easily whip up in hammer via scripted events and choreography with some lights.
I wouldn't be where I am today animating for a commercial game without having to experience the hardship. I have every right to tell him his work is bad so he can improve, Unlike all these newbies blindly saying "OMG GREAT WORK", he has to see what's wrong with it and make it not suck. Plus don't use that excuse that he now started animating, My first animation in 3ds Max was production quality.
I have no idea what throne you're talking about, I just say it as I see it.
Well no offense but it'll just seem like that way if you can't handle constructive criticism, The maps are poorly designed and look as if they were just tossed about with props and no gameplay recognition in mind. The new Uzi animations are also terrible *I know that's not constructive but it shows no use of the key principles in animation such as motion holds, proper weighting and timing*
That's not going to help the animator improve that broken wrist on that reload.
I agree, Can't wait for that C&D hehehehhehhehhhehhehehh
Why should he? He's entitled to his opinion *Which I think is an intellectual one* It's not even a mod it's just a stupid texture pack.
I don't understand the point of this mod, If you want "Fanciness" Just play City 17: Episode 1 when it get's released or The Rising.
Thumb is pretty ****** up.
Okay so what's it look like in game?
