My game always crashes after I get the library key as I walk back to the library door.

Tried it all and still having the same problem.

So, it turns out that I forgot to launch Episode 2. I got all that half life stuff in a bundle in a big sale (mostly for the sake of Garry's Mod) and haven't played it all yet. Now that I've launched it, I still have the same errors. So, I'm going to try to verify both HL2 and Ep2 and then redownload Grey to see if that fixes the problem. If it doesn't, I'll check the console for missing files and get back with you on it.

I finally found it. It was after I died and some glitch prevented the monster from coming back.

How do I make sure I have the SteamPipe beta selected?

For some reason, I ended up with the 1.0 version. I'm trying to reinstall now. Maybe this will fix the issue.

I still couldn't find the shard in chapter 2. The shard is not in the box that is shown in the video.

Well, the reason to remake them is that Opposing Force had a completely different enemy that no hl2 animations exist for. Granted, though, that might not be necessary. I could understand why you wouldn't include Race X, given the story behind hl2.

Wrong. Constructive criticism is, by definition, pointing out a flaw in order to help the person you're pointing it out to be able to correct it. Putting something positive WITH the negative is known as "sugar coating" and is really not constructive at all, but just passive aggressive.

They are vague. What is done with the "songs" and "random" folders.
