great to hear Desura updated
+ another tip for beginners: spectate on the server every now and then, its showing you how items are put to good use, also you will recognize the playstyles... or keep playing and die often, as I did ;)
hello, your vid is fun to watch - nice to share one of your very first moments in savage, I had good laughs still the respective kind of... like watching children learn to walk, you never know one day they'll run faster than you ;)
I guess its quite some challenge to make a game which uses all or most of the great aspects of Savage without creating a plain, modernized copy of it.
man, I can't help but tell you all that you are great people and I've got the munchies.
Make sure you start the game as 'administrator' and check if your firewall allows savage to connect. Hope this helps, enjoy!
Congrats and gg to all here too! Great we even have live shoutcasts now!
hehe, great vid there Daemon!
Savage2 just made it clear in the first 5 mins to me that a lot of the fun stuff isn't there and its far more common than Savage1. Even where both games use their own universe, Savage2 does it in a way you are used to from a lot of games, maybe more consistent, but less interesting.
Savage1 is so unique, you simply can't compare it to any other game. The melee, the RTS/FPS in an interesting environment, the teamwork and overall gameplay, along with a fine community make it a great game in my view. All bugs that may have hindered the game of getting more popular when it came out are long gone and fixed by generations of Community developers.
In my view, the only thing that could use improvement now are the numbers of players, come and play this great game.
Savage2 was just a bad egg in a game row that didn't take my interest longer than half an hour.
:D Human buffs are missing on the diagram, they should be attached to the according factoriums. Otherwise its a great overview
are you sure your firewall is open and you started it as 'Administrator'?
S2, producing Savage 1 makes you quite top ranking in my all-time favourite Software Studios! Hope this heritage still inspires you, good luck with new projects!
yay, World Cup!
Savage is unique, works like a charm and is big fun... good game moments can tremble one in adrenaline!
