Judging from the mapping, this mod is going to kick so much ***!
This is looking amazing. Top job guys!
This looks amazing. Great job Eagle :)
WOW! That building is a HUGE improvement over the standard HL2 flat walls, so GREAT JOB! Atmosphere looks nice, looks like this mod is coming along very nicely. :)
Obviously the water needs to be fixed so we can't see where the grass just ends. But this could turn out to be a very interesting area. I'm...intrigued
reload is way to slow. Looking good though :)
Skybox is amazing, HUD is great!
Cannot wait for this :)
This might just be me, but I ******* hate the portal gun idle animation. Why change it? Other than that, the mapping looks great :)
Very nice! Doesn't sound like you tried to rip of the portal soundtracks, yet feels just like a portal song.
Looks awesome man :D
looking very nice
****-tits, this looks good!
what are they? other than looking really nice ;)
looks really good...will it be in mod?
Logic Pro 9 with various plugins :)
1) Yeah, change the color so it doesn't look like a lightbridge
2) I really don't like the new portal gun idle animation. It just feels awkward and unnecessary.
Was this decision made completely independently of the teams behind Guard Duty and Operation Black Mesa combining into one team, sharing assets and gameplay? Good idea though.
Why would people thumbs down this comment?
I am a huge Valve fan and love every one of their games, but it is true that the Source Engine has some short comings. This is because Valve makes Source do what they need it to do. They've never made an open world RPG, so the engine, understandably, isn't very good at that sort of thing. I believe that (as long as it doesn't mean recreating all the assets) the switch to the Cryengine will be a worthwhile move for the team. I wish them the best of success.
Looking nice good, but FIX THOSE DAMN GRASS SPRITES
dat **** cray
Can you make the stairs rougher around the edges? They look too sharp.
^ Thats not what irony is.
Map need some better lighting, but apart from that it looks awesome!
Creepy but awesome at the same time. Keep it!
Very good, but I had to turn my monitor's brightness all the way up to be able to see anything. If people are playing on dull monitors, or there is a glare from the sun on their screen, they aren't going to be able to see anything. But other than that, the detail here is great.
Nice puzzle. Bit easy though. And I was expecting something to happen at the end, but it just faded to black and then I was sad. You should put some cinematic sequence there.
Apart from the flat wall texture on the left and the tree models, this looks nothing like Source. But it does look amazing. Great work!
To me, this is on par with nearly all AAA games released today. The only big improvement which could be made would be some ambient occlusion on the ground texture (as shown in the mod 'City 17') to make it look less flat. Other than that, brilliant work, and without a doubt some of the best mapping I've seen on Source (Valve included).
Great job guys
if only those windows were 3d, and not just textures...
