By the way, I got the premium alpha and the forums goodies you get are a "Premium Pre-Order" badge and a custom forum title, I'm not sure if I'll also have some extra input when it comes to beta testing (because the description of the premium alpha specifically mentions beta testing whereas the stanard alpha doesn't) but either way I'd encourage anyone who wants to support the game to get the premium alpha to help make sure the game is developed to a high standard. Also if you're planning to use the forums then the badge is pretty nice, everyone likes to be special.

I think the premium alpha is mostly for people who want to support the development of the game a bit more, both pre orders seem to allow you to beta test and get you a copy of the final game. So yes, you are essentially paying an extra 7 euros/5 pounds for forum goodies but it's also a bit of a charitable thing so you can help fund the game.
